My hair has always been thick and challenging. When I was a child, my mother let me run around like a Dickensian wild-haired urchin because I wouldn’t let her comb or brush out my snarls. (I have photographic evidence.)For years my hair was professionally layered, eliminating a lot of the knots, but since I have been sporting DIY pandemic hair, it’s back to making me crazy trying to get out the knots. No matter how much I brush my hair before my shower, I ALWAYS have a giant knot in the back. I have to gingerly try to separate the wet knot into manageable bits to comb it out. Sometimes I get frustrated and just rip it out. I have tried various leave in conditioners, some I have been very happy with, but it still has to be combed through. The various conditioners I have used in the shower have just never worked. The back of my hair is always snarly. Every. Single. Time.That is why I am thrilled with Bed Head Resurrection shampoo and conditioner: thrilled! First, the scent is heavenly. The shampoo lathers up thick and creamy. I know some smarty pants people say sudsy shampoo is bad, but I grew up with suds. I like suds. Those non-sudsy shampoos don’t seem to get into my hair’s nooks and crannies and it doesn’t feel clean. I am loving these suds, unashamedly! And – to my amazement and immense joy - the conditioner worked on my snarls. When nothing in the universe worked on my snarls, this worked! I combed it right through. I didn’t even need to use a leave in. My hair styled up awesomely (for DIY), smooth and so manageable. And it smells great!I HIGHLY recommend this Resurrection combo, especially if your hair is thick and knotty like mine and trying to get the snarls out literally hurts. I love this so much, I am writing this review right after using it. My hair is so soft and smells so good! I think I’m in love with myself now!

I recently purchased this shampoo/conditioner after my stylist recommend another Bed Head product to me that I absolutely loved, but I thought I would change it up a little. My order came very quickly, but unfortunately, both bottles had opened during shipping and spilled contents everywhere. They were packaged very well, in a plastic bag, but even that managed to get full enough to leak. I contacted the seller and notified them of the issue. Even though they are not responsible for the issue, since Amazon is the one that shipped the product, they refunded my purchase fully. They were super quick and helpful and never made me feel like I was stepping on toes or an inconvenience, which is amazing. One of the easiest sellers that I've ever had to work with!That being said, on to the actual review. I was able to salvage a little bit of the product and have used it twice now. I wanted to wait until I had used it a few times before I wrote a review because when you try new things, usually the first time is AMAZING and then it kind of dwindles down after that. I haven't had that problem with this at all. I do want to warn you, major disclaimer for those of you that are sensitive to scents. This has a VERY strong scent to it. I absolutely love the smell of it, but it can be very over powering. My son wont even go into the bathroom for awhile after I use it because he doesn't like it at all. My husband doesn't seem to mind it though. I think it's kind of hit or miss depending on your sensitivity. It is strong, but it does smell good! Both the shampoo and condition are nice and creamy and the shampoo lathers so good! Even with super greasy hair, you don't have to add more or shampoo twice with this product, one dollop is all you're going to need. Same with the conditioner. I am a total conditioner hog. I use so much of it because my hair is so thick and kind of frizzy. I was amazed at how little I needed to make it work. Both products rinse out easily without feeling like you're leaving some left behind, which is a huge plus for me. Now, for the important part. I let my hair air dry and it turned out amazing. It felt clean and not loaded with product, which always worries me with a conditioner that works that well. No oil residue at all. It worked great at taming a majority of my frizz, and it added a ton of volume. Not sure if it's supposed to or if that was just me, but I wasn't really complaining! My hair was easy to brush and style and I did notice a lot of difference in the texture after just a couple of uses. I'm a little bummed that I'm about out and I will definitely be ordering more. I highly recommend this if your tresses are getting to be on the abused and unhealthy side. After just a couple of uses, this has already worked wonders on my hair.

I've been using other bedhead shampoo and conditioner plus after party after washing and they were better than most products for repairing my hair but this stuff takes it to the next level! I followed the recommendation of another reviewer to use less than you would of other shampoos and I'm glad I did because it takes a lot less of this than others I've tried. I can actually run my fingers through my hair after I rinsed out this conditioner in the shower while my hair is still wet. My hair doesn't get as tangled in between washes either. For reference my hair is mid back length, a mixture of 2a, 2b, 2c and 3a at my crown growth and I have a lot of follicles which makes it bulky. Natural - not color or chemical processed. Never use heat. I was using product for normal or oily hair and tee tree oil treatment/products for 2 years before I was informed that I needed product for dry hair and scalp, the products I had used for two years dryed my scalp and hair out and any growth in those two years was frizzy and coiled at the crown. Bedhead products have helped bring my hair from the brink of having to cut it off and start again, this product is by far the best of them!
