Affordable and High-Quality Shelving Solution
Compared to the options available at big-box stores, these shelves offer more space for less money. Upon unboxing, I was pleasantly surprised by their quality. Assembly was a breeze, and even my 9-year-old son was able to help put them together! We're using these shelves in our pantry for canned goods, and they not only look great but are also deep enough to store a substantial amount. They hold a lot of weight, making them perfect for this purpose. The value is excellent, and we plan to purchase another set for my workshop area.

Does the Job
I bought this to store miscellaneous items in the garage. With a good look at the parts and a good look at the drawings, it was easy to assemble. There was a little difficulty at some points because the pieces fit loosely and would come off. Not a big deal, though. When assembled, it has a strong feel to it. I'm waiting to see how it holds weight, though, because the shelf supports are made of plastic. One suggestion I have for the company is to add or make available one or two more shelves. There's a lot of empty space between shelves now.

Please think of those disabled
This will work for what i need but it was a pain to put together, having to only hammer the bars in place because it's a slide type with bolts or screws to keep it from falling apart(lack of real support).makes it difficult to keep them together when first building it,they kept popping out of there holes, can come lose if not carful when moving shelf even after fully built.not stable wobbly,be careful what you place on it,i you mine for cleaning house chemicals,& odds & ends around my kitchen, living room.the shelf boards just sit in place with support beams nothing else si they lose.,made of wood, cardboard.Would not get wet or damp.space is ok for small to medium items, large items may be difficult it would take up most of space as shelf is not very wide or deep. They are long tho. Adjusting the shelves is something I would not want to do unless it's real nessary I would make absolutely. Certain during building process that you have the shells at the proper placement and height the first time around. For me it would be too much of a struggle to have to readjust if they weren't.I do like that i was able to organize my house and that it fits in my living room closet and I have more space now and things aren't so cluttered. I would have liked. Do not have to have had to struggle, putting it together. It took a lot of energy out of me, and made me sore afterwards. I prefer doing things with bolts and screws. It is simpler and easier. Lifting can also be a problem for me, dragging things too. I had to put this together directly in the closet, which was really small and cramped little maneuverability.Had to use my own hammer which is now damaged because the one they sent was too small. And wouldn't have had enough power to do what needed to be done, we're putting the shelf together.

These are not the best utility shelving units out there…but at this price they’re a steal!
I’m giving these utility shelves 5 stars not because of the quality, but because of the value. These shelves are not thick gauge steel and the shelving itself is made of cardboard….but for under $40 how can you complain? They’re fantastic for that price.I can’t confirm the max holding weight capacity of these shelves, but I can tell you they’ll handle at least 600 lbs. the first one I bought I liked so much that I bought another. It’s nice that they come with joiner pieces too if you buy more than 1.My only warning would be not to use these in a location where there is even a remote chance of water getting on them. I could definitely see the frame rusting easily and the cardboard shelves collapsing if they got wet.

Sturdy well designed frame, shelves could be a little thicker
Easy to setup and install, i needed more then 5 shelves so i bought 3 sets and used the extra set to have 7 shelves across two units, these are so cheap i dont understand why people are complaing about it only having 5 shelves, anyway these where perfect for what i needed them for but i would not call them heavy duty, but they are sturdy when you get them all put togther, for the cons it would be it nice if the shelves where just a little thicker to sit flush as there is a raised lip around the edges, 1/4 thick plywood would be a pefect fit if you wanted to replace them with something stronger, i also liked the dowles they included for linking two togther as it adds extra stablity and makes them perfectly symmetrical for us OCD guys

Small but tall. Best for tight fits
Got this because I wasn't sure a standard 18" deep shelf would fit. Being 12" deep it certainly looks small but works great all the same as the large ones. It was a breeze to put together, everything press-fitting together but it also included a little plastic hammer just in case. Also included some wall mounting just in case it needs to be anchored to a wall.Really pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend if the standard sized shelves won't fit.

Cheap, but also inexpensive
This is a very functional shelving unit, but it is very, very cheap and would likely not hold heavy items. The frame is metal and it all clicks together with no hardware. It felt reasonably solid, but I bet if you move it after it's built, everything will come apart. To build it, you slide the pieces together and then bang with a hammer (provided). My tween and I were able to put it together fairly quickly. It does have reinforcement bars for the middle of the shelves but the shelves themselves are just the thinnest, cheapest press board. They are like... barely wood. We struggled to get them into place but they did fit. My parents are renting and needed this to store empty boxes and paper products. I think some heavy boxes on the bottom might be okay but I would definitely not store boxes of books on this thing. Works well for what my folks need it for, so I call it a win

Good value for the $, light duty shelves.
These are lightweight, easy to assemble shelves- however they are also light 'duty' - due to those same weight characteristics. The wood product (similar to masonite) used for the shelves themselves is maybe 1/4" thick, also 'light duty'. Assembly is straightforward and they do tend to 'pop apart' if you aren't careful during. Summary; good, inexpensive, light duty shelves.
