PC Series (Medium) - Thickest Solid Copper Engraved and Hammered Turkish Greek Arabic Coffee Pot Wooden Handle Heavy Duty, Stovetop Coffee Maker, Jazzve, Cezve, Ibrik (10 fl oz)

This is a well made coffee pot. I am a metalsmith and this is made from 18 gauge copper with tin plating on the inside. The tin coating is very good with no runs or missing plating. The outside is deeply engraved and will not wear away over time. After engraving the surface was buffed then polished to remove any sharp edges. The outside is not varnished meaning that the copper will tarnish when used. The information sent with it states that and gives detailed instructions on how to polish it should you desire. The handle is made from beechwood and is varnished with no cracks or burrs. The handle attachment hardware is solid brass and is securely riveted to the pot. I filled it to the brim (above the rivets) to see if it would leak where the handle is attached and it does not. It arrives in two pieces with the handle not attached. There is a robust screw brazed to the brass mount and you will need to screw the handle onto the screw to mount it. The handle is pre-drilled and I had no problems screwing it on. It was secured solidly. The pot itself weighs half a pound and will sit steady when empty without tipping over. I purchased the medium size and filling it to the narrow part of the pot measures 8 ounces. It holds 10 ounces to the brim. It was wrapped with padding and packaged well to avoid any damage in shipping. The paperwork that it came with stated that it was made in Turkey.

I knew this coffee pot as džezva or cezve and was an adult when I got my first to make this type of coffee, that we used to call Turkish. But of course, I new that it is really enjoyed and loved in many European and Middle-Est countries under different names.This one is well made, very solid, good looking and fun to use.Every time I use it, I think not only of my family, but also how many different people use and enjoy their coffee this way.

Very well made Cezve for brewing Turkish coffee. It comes with the handle detached for shipping requiring you to thread the handle on to the screw. I sanded down the handle and hand oil finished it before attaching and absolutely love it. Heats up quickly and evenly giving total control of crema production.

The product works as promised — it makes perfect Turkish coffee and seems sturdy enough. I dinged it one star for the small dent in the spout. Since the product was bubble-wrapped when I received it, I can only assume the dent occurred in the factory, and not during delivery. Otherwise, the product is flawless, and I use it almost every day.

This is heavy duty feels like a good build quality. That being said the finish on the wooden handle is lackluster but a little bit of cutting board oil is fixing it. Five stars for how it works, but four stars because of the handle
