Looks nice, but blocks card signal so it's useless for access badges

I saw comments that both plastic protectors won't fit when you add your ID card, just one. I also experienced this issue at first - I could only get 1 protector + ID card into the holder... until I looked closely and saw that the 2 plastic rectangles of protective plastic each had their own peel-off protective layer that is meant to be removed before use. If you peel those off, you can fit both pieces and one ID card perfectly into the aluminum holder.The holder itself is great, I love the solid feel of the metal vs my previous plastic one. The only downside I've had is sometimes the badge reader takes 1-2 seconds longer to read my card than it did before (in plastic it was basically instant read). I have definitely noticed this issue happens repeatedly and I assume the metal interferes with the reader's signal. If I could take just a half point off, that would be it, but its a very tiny downside to all the upsides I wanted from this holder.The lanyard seems nice, though I removed it because I didn't need it. The hole in the holder is the standard size so I was able to connect my own clip to it so I could have it on my retractable keychain. My keychain takes a beating which is why I wanted the sturdier metal holder and it has held up very well so far.

If you have an access badge it causes the badge reader to be unable to read your badge. Had to fully take my badge out of the case to badge in. Great quality other than that.

I work in a place that uses rfid cards for our doors, glove vending, time clocks, and most of the equipment. I was issues a card a while back ago but my position causes me to move my body alot and I smack my hips into the table next to me alot and that's where I fixed my rfid badge. My first card, unprotected, got mangled and stopped reading, thus I couldn't get gloves, clock in, or even enter the building....I bought this thinking that I'd have to order a few cause they were so cheap, but I was wrong. I only got one and that was like 3 months ago, I'm still smacking my hips and pinning my badge but this frame keeps sturdy and my card is still flush flat thanks to this frame. From an industrial employee, this thing is the save all and I 100% endorse it.Now, I have scratched the frame, that will happen of you work like I do, but with every small scratch I remember that each scratch could have been a bend or a crack. This is the badge shield we all need. This frame will save your badge and save your job.
