First off I would like to say I bought this when it was on sale for $14.91.The doll is truly beautiful. Her face is stunning with inset eyes and beautiful eyelashes. Her hair is long and a beautiful periwinkle color. She is fully articulated above the waist. Infact she has more range if motion than the other Mermaze dolls. Her color change feature works in the cold. Her body turns a deep charcoal or black color. She does have a more rubbery tail with a knee joint. She still can't sit any better than the other Mermaze dolls. She has more weight to her than the others in this line. She has long silver chandelier earings. No real clothing pieces,they are all molded on. Her tail makes her taller than the other dolls and she stands nicely. Her fin does have the tendency to fall off or break apart but it pops on pretty easily. Her other accessories are four bottles of glitter jell a nice brush and 5 hair clips. For the price I paid I could not be more pleased with her but I would not pay more than $25.00 for her. I hope someday MGA incorporates these face sculpts into a line of fashion dolls with legs for the are really pretty. I totally recommend buying her but just wait for a sale.

This was my first Mermaze doll and I absolutely adore her. She got me hooked on the line and a week after I got her, four more showed up at my house! Oops! Anyway, this doll is so gorgeous. Her face is everything I love about so many other dolls. The inset eyes, the lashes, the neutral lip color, the serious facial expression, all of that is just wonderful. To top it off, her hair is AMAZING! I have sat and brushed this doll’s hair for I don’t know how long just because it is so soft and silky. If brushing and styling doll hair is your thing or you like dolls with super long hair, Orra is definitely for you! Her lack of legs doesn’t bother me too much, especially since I got her on sale. I think these dolls are way overpriced, so definitely wait for a sale because they do seem to go on sale often. I’m an adult doll collector and didn’t try the sparkly hair stuff, so I can’t say if that works well or not, but the doll herself is amazing and she’s definitely my favorite of the Mermaze dolls, even without fabric fashion!

Such a gorgeous doll with knee articulation, my only complaint is I wish there was MORE hair gel! They come in small containers and are super cute both on the doll and on people, and I find myself using it as a hair product a lot more than I thought.

From the company that brought us BRATZ, these are every bit as cool and glamorous. Speaking as a doll-addicted boy (3000+ have taken over my house), these are a welcome addition.

She’s so pretty hair has a little bit of gel in it washed it out and let it air dry good as new.

This is my first Mermaze doll , and let me tell you,she has the MOST amazingly gorgeous face I’ve seen in a playline doll in a long long time. What a perfect face she has! A true mythological beauty. The inset acrylic eyes, the long lashes, the dramatic , but tasteful makeup. Her hair is so long and soft in icy/smoky lilacs and periwinkles. I like the big statement earrings and she has the most beautiful hands. I adore her body shape, it is so feminine and gorgeous with soft narrow shoulders, a tiny waist and wide curvy hips. Her arms are not too skinny, just perfect. Her tail is rubbery and clicks in the “knee” area like the old school Barbies. Her sculpted halter top is very nicely done in different shades of lilac and silver. I’m not usually a fan of sculpted clothes, but it is so nicely done. It even surrounds her neck all the way around the back like a real dress would. Her arms and torso pose very gracefully with articulation in the elbow/wrist/chest. Sadly, her head is not too poseable. I don’t like that she can’t sit down and the fin seems weird with that hinge. In my opinion the fin didn’t need to be detachable and split in half , it just looks ugly when used split that way. The fin could have been sculpted continuously as part of her tail for a cleaner more beautiful look, it would have added more stability to the doll too. I can’t say anything about the hair glitter as I don’t play with my dolls like that, and not planning to ruin her hair. The color change gimmick doesn’t interest me either, and I’m not even going to try it. I don’t care for it.Although I adore this doll , I think MGA should consider giving them the option of legs. If Mermaze Mermaidz fail, it’s because of the tails/fins poor design, because those F A C E S and torsos are the most beautiful thing in the doll world right now, and even looking to the past. If a line came out using this face sculpt and torso, but added legs…MGA would finally have the world’s most beautiful fashion doll ever.

This doll is absolutely GORGEOUS and the promo pics don't do her justice at all. Definitely the standout of this first wave of Mermaze dolls. The hairplay gimmick is silly and low-quality - this doll is DEFINITELY not worth the original price. But her hair, features, design, and details are all fabulous and worth owning, so wait for a sale and enjoy.

Absolutely stunning. She arrived fast and her tail was not damaged ( was scared of that).
