worth the 5 bucks
have 2 v yokes they are really neat little piece of equipment. use one with my leki monopod hiking pole, stays on all the time. doesn't impede your hiking situation. I'm able to pull up and shoot a moments notice.I wear a camera chest harness so now don't have to worry in most shooting situations about attaching it to tripod, etc. have canon 80d and used lenses from 24mm up to and including 70-200mm lens with the v. no problems.adjust pole length to location and shoot, don't know that a bulkier lens like 70-300 would work. would depend on how your able to balance it. not impossible?. 2 found that attaching it to a mini tripod [10inch] with flex legs make nice platform to shoot from car door or window, just adjust to widthmold on to door with flex legs. 3. use a small hand held camera stick from hiking to car shooting etc. just be creative thinker when it comes to usingit. for 5 bucks whats to lose? nicely built for price. remember its only as good as you are.

Will work on Primos trigger stick with a little work, and the product itself is nice for the price.
I like the yoke. Pretty simple and just the right size for a hunting stick. I lost my original yoke on a mule deer hunt, and I amp pleased with this as a replacement. It will fit on a Primos trigger stick if you remove the adapter bushing/thread for Primos’s yoke. Requires disassembly of the trigger assembly. If you have any mechanical skill you can do it with ease, and that will expose the common “camera” threads that this time uses.

good for the price
very good, size is ok for most rifles. im using it for an aea hpss super airgun with a 52mm air tank resting on it. not sure how we ll this will do against a firearm with a lot of recoil but i think it mostly depends on your tripod. obviously recoil may mean you need to reset before the next shot but it should help you steady your shots for sighting in etc. strong enough but not super heavy duty it is plastic, lightweight.

Great hunting hack.
Added to a $5 thrift store tripod and it's great. No need to drop $300+ on a "name brand" hunting tripod

Very Cost effective product !
VERY Good product ! Wish I knew of this product years ago ! I wasted money on shooting sticks that are not stable or are cumbersome looking for one that will work in the field and is cost effective. Since I often use my camera tripod to video wildlife while hunting , this was a " No Brainer" ! My Camera Tripod is a VERY stable shooting platform and can make the switch from camera to shooting yoke in seconds ! I actually bought my Camera Tripod @ a 2nd hand store for 20 bucks. ( was a nice expensive tripod too) Since field testing this product I will be telling friends and buying a few more ( along with searching the local Goodwills and thrift stores for more camera tripods)

Screw onto your tripod camera mount
This is a simple way of turning your tripod into a brace for shooting a rifle. It use it for a pellet gun and it works fine. Nothing fancy but does the job. Maybe not for a high powered rifle but perfect for a BB or pellet/ air rifle.

Disposable Five Buck Rifle Yoke
ORIGINAL: The finish quality of this brass mount rubberized plastic yoke would rate B, but it delivers as promised. I used on a Davis & Sanford heavy duty video tripod with an AR and 62gr M855', and got steady true aim. For the price, it seemingly earned its stars.UPDATE: 300 rounds later, the yoke was beaten to pulp ... literally. As in, the yoke disintegrated. Plastic and recoil apparently don't mix.

Perfect
I have a Leki trek pole used for hiking. I bought this to adapt the pole for shooting. It is solid and fits the Leki threads for the pole end perfectly.
