Stylish, functional, built to last
I spent a great deal of time looking for a good quality diffuser, and have spent a great deal of time since purchasing this and using it with a variety of different oils (not brands, just different oils from the same brand).Pros:DurabilityEase to cleanDiffusion of scentSizeAppearanceNoiseCons:Timer settingsFirst, cons: Despite the extensive list of pros, the inability to have more than one setting option is an inconvenience. Research does indicate that the on for x time, off for x time does allow one to best benefit from the oils. Still, I would have like variety myself. It doesn’t detour from the overall capabilities or power of this diffuser, though. The pros are truly what make this device worth the pretty penny it costs. In the year that I have had this, I have never had it not work, malfunction, hiccup, etc. The only times I noticed an issue with oil diffusion was due to the glass bottle needing a cleaning. I did, in error a few times, use thicker resin oils when I first got this, because I was newer in oil diffusion. Oils like Amyris will always have trouble being diffused, and despite its power, this diffuser just can’t do those. This is called out though on the device, I just overlooked it. Despite this, once I thoroughly cleaned the bottle, it diffused the next blend with no issues, lingering scent of either the previous oils or alcohol at all. I did have to replace the bottle recently, but’s that’s because I dropped it, not a fault of the product. I have read reviews regarding the motor, but despite quite consistent use, there has been no hesitation with this, at all.Cleaning is a breeze: I put both the top and the bottle in a cup, pour 99% isopropyl in the bottle, and enough in the cup to fully cover the bottle top, and let it sit for a few hours (or 24 for a full cleaning), then empty and let air dry. Important note: alcohol does linger in the little tubes at the bottom of the bottle, so be sure to let the bottle fully dry before using it. No scrubbing, swabbing, cleaning small corners, etc. Pour, soak, empty, air dry. Hardest part of that is waiting for it to dry.The bedroom this diffuser sits in is roughly 8’ x 10’, so I have it sitting in a corner facing into the room. 99% of the time, I will run it on it’s lowest setting, to prolong the oil in the bottle. Despite this, it takes less than 30 seconds for the entire room to smell like whatever I want it to: peppermint, lavender, chamomile, davana, orange, blends, single, whatever I diffuse, I never have any issues with it not filling the room. During the day while I work, during the night while I sleep. Day or night, this little machine runs at least 5 times a week, and works like the first day it came home. No fans needed to help it (doesn’t stop me from doing this from time to time). This is perfectly sized, not too clunky to get in the way, not too small to miss, it has a delightful appearance that looks like a fine décor item. This particular style intrigued me with its dark rounded base design and delicately entwined bottle interior. The various options allow you to pick a style that fits with many themes in a room.Noise level depends on the intensity of the diffuser. Since I use the lowest setting, the noise is fairly low, and can be drowned out by a fan very easily. I would describe it like a low brown noise. Because I personally have it next to the bed, I notice it easily, but if placed further away, it would be harder to hear. It does vibrate while in use, but with the rubber backing on the base, the diffuser doesn’t move, even on a smooth wooden nightstand.Keep in mind that the description does indicate that poor quality oils, carrier oils, and thick oils will not work well with this, so it is important that the brands you use are of good quality, and that you are only using essential oils that are not super thick. Proper cleaning and good oils will allow you to run this delightful diffuser for years to come.

Fantastic Diffuser
A little bit of background: I came to essential oils primarily as a way to combat allergies years back. I've tried a little of everything from the electric diffusers you can buy at your grocery store to this one, my favorite ever home diffuser. I've used it for several months now and am overall very pleased with its form and function.ProsThe diffuser does an excellent job or permeating a room with scent. I use it every evening when I'm going to bed and am considering a second for the living room this fall.It has a solid choice of settings to allow you to lightly scent a room or fill it with fragrance. This is especially helpful when I'm not feeling well and want to fill the room quickly with scent. It is extremely easy to clean and care for. A little alcohol has been all that is needed. It seems sturdy and like it will last a while. The base is heavy and solid. The glass isn't nearly as fragile as I was afraid it would be. I'll be keeping it out of reach of children and pets but I don't feel a need to handle it with kid gloves when I'm cleaning it.This diffuser is absolutely beautiful! While that wouldn't be important if it didn't perform well, it does and so it is.ConsThe diffuser makes an audible sound that is fairly high pitched. In all fairness, I'm pretty sensitive to sound and it is very possible this wouldn't bother anyone else. I've resolved the issue by placing the diffuser across the room and using a sound machine when the diffuser is running. NOTE: the pitch changes with the intensity level so it is very possible to find a sound and diffusion level that you're content with. The documentation with the diffuser mentions a limit of three consecutive hours of use. That can be difficult as there is no timer built into the device. I resolved it with a Belkin Conserve Socket F7C009q Energy-Saving Outlet but you could easily do so with a cheap lamp timer from your local hardware store. My parents have the same diffuser and use a timer we used to use for Christmas lights. Works out beautifully. All in all this is a great diffuser that will cover larger areas. I have and will continue to recommend it to others. Belkin Conserve Socket F7C009q Energy-Saving Outlet

Love it!
I am new to using essential oils and this Aromis Nebulizer was my very first purchase. I didn’t want to go down the path of using a diffuser and thinning out the oils with water so this seemed to be the logical choice for me. It is made of hand blown glass and has a beautiful wood base that give it a very scientific but elegant look. There are no blinking lights, no Bluetooth connectivity or any other crazy features that In my opinion are just unnecessary for such an appliance. This thing serves its purpose in a very straight forward, efficient and intuitive fashion. The design, quality and workmanship are top notch and well worth the price I paid for it. It works beautifully and I have used it every day since I got it. It has a built in timer that turns the unit off and on in 10 minute intervals over an 8 hour period. You can increase and decrease the output by adjusting the knob but I have found the lowest setting to be optimum for the rooms I use it in particularly my music studio. It does make a purring sound when it’s running but most of the time I never really notice it or find it bothersome. The top of the unit has a removable glass bulb that can be oriented to direct the flow of the output. Unfortunately I accidentally broke the top when I dropped it on tile floor. The company sells replacement parts and I was able to replace this in just a few days. I have to say I really love this thing and moreover I have become totally fascinated with aromatherapy and essential oils. I highly recommend this product and I will likely be buying a few more of these in the future.

Difficult to keep running
When I first rec'd my unit I really liked the looks. In a short time, the base quit working. I sent it back to the vendor (cost me $10 for postage) he repaired it and I was up and running. It ran for a couple of weeks then I had issues with the glass. The seller gave me different things to do to get it operational. I've handled this unit with extreme care and have complied with all the 'what to do if' scenarios. From day one, I put this on a timer and only used it for 1 hr in the morning and 1 hr in the afternoon. I have soaked it in a high grade alcohol, sent pictures to the seller, tried the twist-tie wire unclog procedure, been careful with what I used for oil and with all of this effort, this unit barely diffuses any oil. The seller states these are hand blown and each one varies in the channel that carries the oil. Also, he states on occasion a drop of oil leaks to the base and shuts the motor down. While I appreciate the advice, what I really want is an operating unit. I've spent $119 and the unit has only worked properly for maybe 20 days in 3 months. I have requested a full refund but the seller is not willing to do that. He made some conditional offer if I send it back and if he can resell it, then I can be refunded 70% of the price. Amazon's A-Z Customer Service has not been helpful with getting a refund even tho' they have the many emails I have written trying to get this unit to work. At this point, while the unit looks nice, it has serious design flaws and the seller does not want to back up the product to ensure you have a working unit. I was not prepared for this hassle as I have had a diffuser from a different company for over 15 years and never had to jump thru hoops to get it to run. It would run any oil I wanted, would run as long as I wanted to run it, there were no special cleaning/unclogging routines, and I just basically ignored it and knew it was going to run. I'm going to get a new pump for my old unit and trash this one. I am very disappointed with this experience as I have not rec'd a good product even tho' I spent enough money to have an excellent unit. My closing comment is: buyer beware!! Hopefully someone else can be spared this frustration of spending your money and time and coming up with a unit that needs to be trashed.

Love it!!!!
I extensively researched what type of essential oil diffuser to get after having one that required water for the past few years.Other reviewers were very detailed about technical details and how superior this feels compared with some other styles but I will focus more on the plain differences that I noticed between the water diffusers and this one.For the past few years I used a diffuser that required water and it didn't matter what kind of quality of essential oils was used in it.I loved the fact that it would disperse the oils quickly and the whole house would smell really nice within a few minutes and somehow the whole smell would last for at least a day.It was easy to look after(just refill the water tank and pour some oils :-)) but everyone was complaining that they could not breath properly and would feel like coughing a little bit when the diffuser was in use even with the use of good quality essential oils. The result was that so I had to use it when I was by myself or just for really short periods of times(5-10 min) when having someone else around. It got to the point that I had issues breathing properly when the water diffuser was on too so I had enough and I decided to get some really good quality therapeutic essential oils that required a high quality dispenser :-) and start using the essential oils for their therapeutic results rather than for their fragrances.I did not know better in the past but now , looking back and knowing what I know now about the essential oils and essential oil dispensers, I would not have used the water one for so long and I would have gotten therapeutic grade essential oils instead of just pure essential oils(I discovered that some of the ones used in the past were only 10-20%, had carrier oils, etc)....So after researching for quite a while I decided to get this one and I could not be more happy.I hope it will last a long time and I will not break too many glass replacements bottles when trying to clean it as it was described by other reviewers...I even watched a video on you tube about cleaning it but I am still worried that I will break a few before getting the hang of it :-).I have had it for a month only but I run it every day/a few times/day/1h with no incidents, no clogging.I mix and match the oils and I am careful not to use thick oils alone as it could clog the unit easier than the thinner ones(again based on other people's experiences and reviews).I breath so much better now and I get asked what it is that smells so nicely and makes people feel so peacefully. There are Nn more complains about how toxic the air feels now.It is a very different feeling, it's like breathing fresh air not smog like before. My main regret is that the smells don't last long though. Once the unit is off, the smell can be felt for 10 min only.I even went outside of the house, spent a few minutes there and came back and still could not feel the smell....I miss that feeling of coming home and having a nice smelling house but it is a small price to pay for the new therapeutic benefits of the new diffuser.....I ordered another one for another room so if one breaks at least I have a spare one that I can enjoy until the broken one will get replaced. The noise that it makes is not loud at all, it's more like a calm humming that I actually enjoy. It sometimes reminds me that the unit is on and I need to shut it of :-).15-20 drops of oils last for about 1h at full power but if it's as strong smelling oil I use the medium power because otherwise it can be overwhelming for a regular size apartment room.I would highly recommend it.So far the customer service was great, the product was great too.I wish that they would include a thin wire made for cleaning the inside tubes though so I don't have to go and search for one and discover that it is not the right thickness, break a glass bottle in the meantime, etc.
