I use this camera to keep an eye on my dogs while I'm at work. Easy to check in on the camera feed by using the app, can swivel the cam and talk through it. Good quality video and night vision! It does require a micro SD card to save/record video!

The media could not be loaded. There’s a lot to like about this camera. Here are the pros:• Incredibly easy to set up once you have the app• Great image quality• Great night vision quality• Excellent range of motion for panning• Great sound quality, my boyfriend was able to perfectly hear me singing and rapping while he was spying on me• Records event clips when motion is detected, which my boyfriend is extra excited about now that he has a bunch of clips of me singing, rapping, and dancing around while cleaning• Great quality and volume enables me to tell my dog to get off the table or yell at my boyfriend to wake up off the couch and do some laundry or something. No more avoiding my calls or texts on his day off, no mercy!• Great customer support and warranty! When my derpy idiot dog knocked the camera down 4 days after we got it, the image turned magenta. A simple chat with support via the phone app resulted in Wyze Cam sending a new unit, free of charge!Cons:• Does not come with much in the way of instructions• Does not come with any sort of mount or anythingI can’t really say anything bad about this camera so far. I originally ordered 2 of these in August 2020 and had 1 replaced in October 2022. Sometimes I have to restart the app because it either can't find the memory cards or simply can't pass the third security step and actually log into one, or the other camera. A simple restart of the effected camera usually solves the problem.I recently bought a 3rd camera as I need to keep an eye on my elderly mother now living with me while I'm at work. Same issues with this one. As well, one of the original 2 does not show in color anymore. It's just a black and white picture as though it's stuck in night vision mood 24/7 no matter how bright the sun's shining in the room. I've kept up with and updated the firmware in each camera and the app as they come available to no avail. UPDATE: 8/1/23 -- The one that was in B&W has now gone back to seeing in color with the latest update.I'm frustrated with the little quirks as I need to be able to check in on her a moments notice and not have to wait a minute or more to access the feed. This doesn't happen a lot, but enough, and seems like it happens when I really need access, like "now" to be sure she's alright at times. That and I purchased memory cards for all 3 when I bought the cameras so I wouldn't have to rely on the Wyze servers or pay just to monitor things.The fine print regarding the monitoring service allows them to use any clip at will for their purposes ...whatever that may be. Another pet peeve is Wyze constantly throws and nagging box up at random when I'm trying to access video clips on the memory cards remotely trying to sell said services. 1 click turns it off. It's just an annoyance I don't need. Particularly when in a hurry to check on things. No thank you Wyze.So my experience thus far has been so-so. Looking at other possible options at this time. Get what you pay for as the old adage goes. They're not bad, but they're not great either. YMMV.

When my husband came home for his last weeks of life in dire condition, I was at first jumping up and running at every sound - like every five minutes. He was usually muttering or moving in his sleep. I ordered this camera, which arrived same day with pretty nearly plug n play installation. It saved my sanity!I can monitoring him at all times through the phone app as I move about the house, and respond appropriately. Night vision is very good. I people the phone next to my bed with the app open and can check anytime I open my eyes, and go back to sleep. I can save short video clips to show the hospice nurse for medication advice. Picture is a screenshot from the app - excellent quality.I plan to build out a security system using this brand because I'm so pleased with it. I was able to provide much better home care because of it. I wish this existed years ago when my kids were babies!
