Best so far
Big improvement over previous board. Very Quiet. I am saying it is easy to install but I am very mechanical. If you are not there are some great YouTube channels Like CHEP or Teaching Tech that can help alot.

Easy install...exceeds expectations
Clear instructions on the fan1, fan2 connections and control mode would be nice, but otherwise simple and straightforward. Money well spent... installed on Ender 3 pro with no issues.

Not so easy
The board was straight forward to change out. Why I gave it a 4 star is unlike the claimed Ender 3 pro firmware installed, it came with Ender 5 firmware? Talk about making this 77 year old upset. Lucky for me I found a great guy on the Ender facebook page that sent me the firmware in the BIN code I needed and once that was put on a clean SD and I loaded it I was up printing quietly.

Solid hardware; Pathetic firmware
It was a dud on arrival, and the crappy chicom firmware didn't work. I had to compile my own, and it's working perfectly...so far.

No noise!
Even with the stock motherboard, you should upgrade just for the noise factor. All you hear with this thing is fans, no motors or anything. Works great.

Has Marlin 1.0.1 not the advertised 2.0.1
Text directly from the item description:"V4.2.7 version is new version with TMC2225 driver & Marlin 2.0.1 for V4.2.7 board and Bootloader installed, the firmware can be modified by ARDUNO with USB cable"I received a board with Marlin 1.0.1 on it. Now its either spending the time to return this board for hopefully the correct item that's advertised and then the extra time to install. Or I have to purchase an arduino and do all the updates myself. Either way, its extra time and/or money.

Only good for 2 years.
I purchased this motherboard May 18, 2022 to replace the machine original. I began using my Ender 3 V2 on Jul 2020. I had to replace the motherboard in May 2022 because it would no longer recognize an SD card. Formatting or changing cards did not help. Now, I have to replace the motherboard again because it no longer recognizes the SD card. Just like the original motherboard. It looks like they only last about 2 years. And, of course, they are out of warranty after 2 years.
