JSHealthVitamins Vitality X + Collagen - Beauty Powder Supplement with Aloe Vera Silica and Vitamins C & E to Nourish Hair Skin and Nails (180g)

This collagen dissolved well for me and didn't have a bad after taste.

I'm somewhat disappointed in the use and quality of the JSHealth Vitamins Vitality X + Collagen supplement.First, I get no caloric information, just a panel of wellness nutritional stuff. Ok, fine. I guess it has no calories whatsoever? But as someone who charts everything going into my body, it would be helpful to know if there are any calories, sugars (carbs and the like), and protein in this product. Technically there is protein because we have marine collagen in the mix. But as a supplement and something made outside of the US, in Australia, supplements are not regulated the same way as food. So I guess they are not required to give the details as mentioned above.Second, this is a supplement booster you can add to your shakes or dissolve into a glass of water and drink. Unfortunately, while the bright yellow powder smells heavily of fruity goodness, as the label promotes "natural forest berry flavor," the 6g or 1-teeny tiny scoop (included) serving ends up being super bland. Not fishy. Not fruity. Just blah and a hint on the sour side. Plus, the powder isn't very soluble. So I end up with floaters and gritty pieces, which are not very palatable.Third, I'm surprised a brand promoting health and wellness would have Maltodextrin as their first "other ingredient." I notice they don't highlight this anywhere on the post. As of this writing, they fail to mention Maltodextrin on the ingredients list. It is a cheap, unnecessary filler that can be problematic for some users.Suppose you are concerned about maintaining and balancing your blood sugar (Keto, diabetics, intermittent fasting, weight management, low carb). In that case, I recommend you read up on "-dextrins" and assess if they are suitable for your dietary needs. For some, they can elevate blood sugar significantly, 2-3x that of regular table sugar.Maltodextrin is a highly processed starchy (usually derived from corn here in the states) polysaccharide, a cheap filler often used for enhancing texture and adding sweetness to various food-like products. Per the glycemic index, it can be 3x higher than regular white table sugar, which means this might spike your blood sugar. GI range 80 to ~100. High fructose corn syrup shares space in this high GI category.Now, I'm not pooh-poohing all moderate to high GI foods. People consume foods like rice, potatoes, apples, and cereal all the time. However, I have an issue with a costly wellness supplement using this filler when it is unnecessary. They've already formulated this with Stevia (which has been shown to have little to no impact on blood sugar). What was the point?And finally, this ridiculously expensive little plastic tub of powder (180g/6.3oz/30 servings retails for $49.99 as of this writing) has a woefully low amount of collagen per serving. 3g isn't a lot when you consider there are countless other collagen supplements with better solubility, flavor, and price-point (without fillers like Maltodextrin) that offer several times the collagen of this product.Personally, as an active woman in her 40's, I aim for highly soluble products with 10g or more per serving of collagen/protein and tend to use them in my coffee for convenience. Overall, this collagen supplement powder did not work for my wellness and dietary needs. I didn't enjoy the use or flavor. Nor do I like the use of unnecessary additives.

I heard so many people raving about Jshealth vitamins and specially the collagen powder which does wonders how its really good and that what encouraged me to give it ago I’m on my fourth jar and to be fair my skin feels better , clearer and softer . I can’t recommend this more .

So far I can not give any feedback on the effectiveness of the product, but to be honest I don't need that either. Looking at the ingredients, I know I am fueling my body with valuable nutrients and that is enough for me. I ordered only one container to first try the flavor. I 100% disagree with other reviews that it has a bad flavor. I can actually mix it in water and it has a fruity taste. I actually like it. I will order more containers right now in order to be able to continue taking this great product.

I was so excited to use this stuff because I hear people rave about JS all of the time. I bought this in conjunction with the skin and energy pills (which I haven't received yet). The bottle was half empty when it arrived (pictured) yesterday which was super disappointing. I thought I'd give it a go today regardless because I really hate returning things. The smell isn't very appealing but that's not the point so I put it in a very strong coffee drink that I have in the mornings and the entire thing tasted like fish leftovers. I know it's a marine based collagen but was not anticipating that it would taste like I put a straw in an aquarium that needs cleaning. SO bummed. I had high hopes for this stuff but will be returning today.

Unfortunately I have to write this review, mainly because this company does not accept returns. My account says eligible for returns through March 2, but then when I try to proceed, I get a message saying this product is ineligible for return. I’ve tried it 3 times. There is nothing I can mix it with to cover the overwhelming marine/ocean taste. I am disappointed because I like the ingredients and I like to support small businesses seeing as I am also a small business selling on Amazon. I willChoke it down for the next 25 days because I am not wasteful, but, the taste is horrible.

After seeing the results from my wife I started taking collagen supplements too! Seems to help with tendon issues and skin, hair and nails. I use mostly to help my skin look fuller and tendons.

Shipping was fast. The container is a bit small for the price. Other than that it’s a good product! Love adding it to my smoothies.
