I have really thick dark hair that likes to go from wavy to curly depending on the weather. But I also suffer from severe depression and it leads to not taking care of my basics needs from not eating to not even brushing my hair for weeks. I usually put it up in a bun to hide how bad it is, even though I know I'm just avoiding the inevitable. I would just get so scared to even try brushing it out because I know it'll be painful and I've had a sensitive scalp since I was young. I barely get my haircut or let the hairstylist brush my hair, i do it myself because of how painful it can be for me.I had my doubts about this product because I thought it was just all hype. But I had an event coming up that I couldn't miss and I was desperate to brush out my matted hair. I lost my old trusty hairbrush when I traveled during the holidays and went ahead to buy three different detangler brushes to try, but this one was the best! The other two were the BESTOOL Detangling Brush & the Ninabella Organic Detangling Hair Brush. The Bestool worked well, but not as much as this brush. And I'm not satisfied with how unsturdy the Ninabella wasIts lightweight and on the smaller than i expected since i had the size of a paddle brush in mind; it made me more doubtful of its usefulness more because I have too much hair. But it caused me very little pain (mats will always cause some pain) and made what is usually a multiday process to less than 10 minutes. I was brought to tears of how well it worked. It didn't snag, the bristles were still in place, and it was really easy to remove loose hairs. I also liked that the bristles were long enough to stimulate the scalp when brushing, I could barely feel the bristles of the Bestool, which maybe some other people prefer that. Its also really sturdy unlike the Ninabella which would just couldnt make it through the big knots. This brush can be used in the shower too without worry of water getting stuck inside like my old brushes with the cushions uner the bristles. Ive been using this brush in the shower, when its only semi dry, and whenever i just need to touch uo my hair when its dry. I'm not sure how it works. It doesn't look like anything special either, but works so well everytime!I'm grateful that it's brought me some relief in regards to no longer fearing to brush my hair when I just can't find the will to fight my mental illness and get out of the deep pit. There's no more crying, no sore arms, no throbbing scalp, and no self-hating. If you had the same struggle with your hair, you should give this a try!

I have naturally fine, curly hair and I have tried so many hairbrushes that don’t work for me. I wash once every two weeks and usually have a good clump of hair that I shed regardless of what brush I use (and I’ve tried Denman, Bounce Curl, and Tangle Teezer brushes.)I saw someone use this brush who said it was amazing and needless to say I was skeptical it would be any better than what I have tried.I used the brush for the first time tonight and I am glad to say that this brush is 100% worth the hype. It gets knots out of your hair so easily, I shed less than I ever have, and it was the shortest and least painful detangling experience ever.Absolutely shocked to say it, but Unbrush is worth what you pay for it and much more.

I purchased this brush because I felt like other combs and brushing was breaking my hair off, especially during wash day. This brush is so amazing. It made my wash day flawless. Before washing my hair I detangled my hair dry, there was very little shedding which I was really pleased with. I also used the brush to detangle my hair with shampoo and again little to no shedding. I brushed my leave in conditioner and curl cream in my hair with the Unbrush and my curls came out so nice. For once the definition in my curls were beautiful this brush left my hair looking so healthy after my wash day. I can’t wait to see my length retention after a few months of using this brush

3C/4A Hair: I LOVE this brush. By far the best detangling brush I have ever used, and I’ve used a lot (e.g., denman brush, wet brush, etc.). It is very light weight and may look cheap, however, once you use it, you’ll realize how much of a necessity it is for wash day. Before this brush, detangling my hair in the shower used to take so long, however, when using this brush, I probably spend less than five minutes brushing each section, all the knots and tangles are out, and I don’t feel like it is breaking my hair. Highly recommend everyone switches to using this brush. Another thing I like is that it is VERY easy to clean: after each wash, I take the hair out then hold it up under a faucet with hot water running; after doing that, it’s typically clean. Very curly and coily hair friendly as someone who uses it and has 3c/4a hair…my sister who has 4C hair also uses it and stands by it. Get you one NOW!

I am so thankful for this brush ! My son has curly hair and it gets very tangled at times. He hates getting it washed because that means getting it detangled. It’s not fun for either of us . He ends up in tears and I dread doing it. No matter how many hair products we try , the result is a lengthy process from start to finish. So when I say this brush is amazing, I am referring to no tears , LESS TIME and an overall better experience detangling my son’s hair. Is it perfect, no . Does it comb right through from roots to ends (like all the videos out there) , no . But it does help tremendously and I highly recommend it ! I made sure to use the brush on wet hair after applying our usual conditioning cream to his hair . I started at the ends and worked my way up to the roots (in small sections). I could not believe how fast I was able to get through half of his hair . This brush has taken the stress and discomfort out of managing his hair . Try it without expectations of a miracle brush or no tugging at all because that’s just not realistic. I hope this product helps others who are experiencing the same struggles. Definitely worth trying it .
