Beautifully packaged! The "Escuminac Organic Maple Syrup Special Edition Gift Box" has 3 substantial glass bottles of maple syrup with a wax sealing at the top of each bottle. The 3 bottles are nestled securely within a lovely gray box with a magnetic closure. I went to the Escuminac website and read about the varying colors of syrups, and I now understand that the lightest-colored syrup is from the first sap of the season; the medium-colored syrup is from the middle of the season; and the rich, dark syrup--which has a more robust flavor--is from the late part of the season. We actually ordered these as Christmas gifts for 5 of our friends and family members. I am extremely picky about ordering gifts online for people who live out of town. I want the gift to arrive nicely packaged. You definitely would be proud to have these syrups sent to a relative or friend because of the gorgeous gift-box presentation as well as the high quality of the syrups themselves. I will definitely be ordering these again. (We also ordered a box for ourselves, and the syrups are delicious.) Oh, I should mention that there was an option to have the gift sent in an actual Escuminac shipping box or an Amazon shipping box. I chose the Escuminac shipping box because I knew the recipients would not be tipped off to what was inside the box, and because Amazon boxes sometimes arrive rather battered and beaten up. (Sorry, Amazon.....that is just my experience!) The Escuminac box arrived here in fantastic shape. Anyway, I have tried to cover everything I can think of in order to give an honest review. Full disclosure...until this purchase I've been content with just any ol off the shelf grocery store maple syrup. After trying Escuminac nothing I've tried before even compares and I'll likely never go back.For starters the packaging is of gifting quality...truly exceptional. The maple syrups are unlike any I've ever had before. Between the three they are distinctly different in aroma and flavor. I like all three very much, but have to say my stand out favorite is the late harvest. The description says it's best used in cooking...I haven't cooked with it, but I have used it as an ingredient in an Old Fashioned cocktail. And let me tell you, it's a delicious addition to this drink. I've actually had to purchase a larger bottle of the late harvest...200ml just wasn't enough.

This stuff is so good it felt like I was taking shots of drugs. Like each taste gave me full body euphoria shivers. Are there drugs in this syrup? I got it as a gift for my boyfriend so thankfully I got to sample it as well. I'm so glad I bought this. He loved it immediately and the packaging really makes it looks extra special. It was his favorite gift! So delicious. We are almost out and it's so sad !!!

She absolutely loved this set. I will be purchasing another one for her soon. She eats pancakes everyday like they're going our of style 😂
