Funniest game
If you like sonic and you like tennis, definitely should buy this game. Might be retro but it is gold

I had high hopes for this game and I'm no stranger to videogame tennis games especially Hot Shots Tennis on the PSP. The controls aren't quite the same as any good tennis game and it took me awhile to get used to them. I'm glad I got this game cheap since I'm not sure if I will be playing this game again.

Sonic Blasts
I have had my xbox 360 for two months now and have several games for it, however this is the game that I play the most. I love sonic and I love games where playing against the computer can be fun and a challenge at times, this one delivers just that.I enjoy the tennis themed mini games and unlocking the new levels to this game. Sometimes it takes me awhile to win, but I always have fun. I think for kids this is hands down one of the best games to get them. It would be a fun party game for kids seeing as the matches don't take long and they could easily switch in and out.The graphics aren't great, but I am not about having the best graphics, I want to have fun even if it is playing an old school system just for the fun factor. This game gives you the fun factor. And while xbox 360 seems to be cranking out more kid friendly games in the meantime this one is a must have for families with small kids. The gameplay is simple. A lot of button smashing, but you do have to move your character to the right spot and press the button at just the right time in order to hit the ball so you do have to work for it. As you advance thru the tournaments it can get a little tricky and just when you think you have it they may surprise you.If you have kids wanting to play a game on the 360 go pick up a copy of this, it is a cheap deal for all the fun you could have playing it with young ones.

A Lot of Fun, Casual Play
As a Dreamcast fan, games like Sega Superstars Tennis is a treasure. The inclusion of Ulala from Space Channel 5 and Jet Set Radio are awesome. Planet Superstars has a good variety of mini-game challenges mixed in with tennis matches, and most are really fun... only a few are very difficult. There is a lot to unlock, so the game has a casual appeal but seems to have good depth as well. The controls are a little weird, but it's easy to get use to them: you press the button(s) and then quickly indicate the direction; when you press the button(s) before the shot is not important. My only complaint is that is unclear what is necessary to complete in order to unlock things. There are "unlockable prize" notifications, but they appear for only some unlocks.I had tried the Wii version of Sega Superstars Tennis, and I was really disappointed with the controls and graphics. I have no similar complaints about the Xbox 360 edition.I'll close with a little tip, correcting a typo in the instructions for controlling a computer partner in a doubles match: press LB/RB buttons to cycle through whether they play close to the net, the base, or automatic.

Both discs work great
I got the version with the XBLA disc as well, and both of them worked flawlessly. Intersetingly the XBLA disc used the old dashboard style interface. Overall I'm happy how it came out :)

It broke my Xbox 360
I don't know what was up with this game I previewed it on the Xbox Live Marketplace and immediately went to buy it. Big mistake. It arrived and when I put it on to play my Xbox froze, unusual, especially since I have a 120 gb system. I cut the Xbox off and it Red Ringed on me. I turned it off and it came back to normal but I tried the game again and it froze my game AGAIN. I turned it off again and it Red Ringed and stayed that way. I had to buy another System. Overall the game was fun on the marketplace and maybe it was my system but I tried it on my new system and it slowed it down so badly I took the disc out and threw it away. No more. I'd advice downloading it directly onto your system if you want it that badly. It really is a fun game.

Fun, loaded with mini games, more fun with others....
No one is playing this online, which is a shame, but makes sense i guess. I bought a copy for six on here, thats dollars.....and for the price it was great. Good graphics, easy controls, anyone can pick up and play it. I tried to play online several times all hours of the day, no luck. So, for the money, i bought another copy for my brother, i haven't given it to him yet, but for the money, the two copies, and to have someone to play with its worth it. Good for kids, easy, cartoon characters, safe and non-violent...I recommend it
