CRAFTSMAN Linesman Pliers, 8-Inch (CMHT81648)

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: I try to get as many CRAFTSMAN tools as possible in my personal toolbox collection. Yes, my father collected nothing but Craftsman back when they were sold by SEARS and a much trusted brand. I fully realize they are a company like the other many out there making tools. However, when it comes to Wrenches, sockets, and other hand tools, I still prefer and trust a Craftsman tool the most. I have a huge set of Craftsman Tools and was surprised to realize I did not have this size, so now I do. I highly recommend this brand. Good luck.

I know lately people have been saying Craftsman products "arent what the used to be", but I must say these seem to be pretty high quality. The steel seems solid and durable, the grip is comfortable and they seem to be sturdy. I have nothing bad to say - seems like a nice pair of linesman pliers.

They're definitely comfortable to hold and function as they should. They're sharp, grip well and are easy to use. They're almost as nice as Kle**ns. Overall very pleased with this purchase. Used them today to replace a ballast in a 4 lamp light fixture. Easy peezy with these.

I absolutely HATE cheap tools! When I buy, I shoot for Craftsman because, IMHO, they are the standard. This set of pliers doesn’t disappoint. Bulletproof, great weight and versatility. Love the grips—won’t slip and the tool is easy to use. Jaws spread wide enough for most wiring applications, and cutting wire is effortless!
