This fan is an absolute lifesaver! It’s powerful, quiet, and does an amazing job of keeping the room cool — even on the hottest days. I have two of these fans, both over 2 years old and still working perfectly, they are absolutely the best fans I have ever owned by a wide margin. They are efficient, super quiet so ideal for the bedroom and have a variety of settings so that even in the warmest conditions they are effective. The remote controls are still working with their original batteries. They are also the only fans I have owned which are fully assembled when bought and are very sturdily built.

After seeing a friend's fan, and being impressed with just how quiet it actually is, I knew I had to have one to replace my regular noisy fan. It is well built (one caveat - see below), very powerful (the lowest setting has plenty of airflow and virtually silent), and while rounder, it doesn't take up any more space than my old desktop fan.I've now owned it for a year and a bit (purchased Dec 2023 - basically used it for an entire summer without a problem). However, after bringing it out and dusting it off for this years warmer weather, the bearing or something was making a rubbing noise, which while it didn't affect functionality, the noise did become annoying, especially as it isn't cheap for a fan. Not louder than my old regular one, but it did cost 5x more.After a briefly troubled back and fourth via customer services (not all their fault, Amazon support chat doesn't allow links, and attachments have size limits) and supplying them with a short video of the problem, they shipped out a replacement which arrived the next day. A+ for customer service.Silence has returned. I love my Meaco! I wasn't asked or paid for this review, just felt it deserved it.

Meaco fans get a lot of hype and praise so eventually I caved and bought this, which at the time seems to be their hero product.It is pricey for a fan but I was drawn to the design and the promise of it being both powerful and very quiet.It delivers on both design and quietness but I was hoping for a bit more power.If you crank this up to max settings and have it blowing directly on you, you will stay cool and in fact I only usually have it set as high as 7 (of 12) to balance power and sound.In circulation mode, I haven't found it to be very effective at cooling a room. At least not according to it's own thermometer but it does make a nice breeze.The modularity is great, it's easy to remove the poles to adjust how tall you want it to be and I love the design of this. When all snapped in to place it feels like one piece. It's heavy enough to feel premium but light enough to carry around the house.I wouldn't be without this especially during the summer and it does seem to be very energy efficient. I can't really detect much of a difference in my power consumption when it's on all day.The beeping sound is a bit of an annoyance, you can turn it off via the remote but if you unplug it, the sound will be back.A summer essential in my opinion and I would buy one again.

This fan instantly made me smile. Quiet at last! Not only that but impressively powerful... the highest setting is like a gale. Cool that there's a night mode which gradually reduces the speed to help you sleep as well as a temperature display and eco function that automatically adjusts the speed depending on the ambient temperature. Super easy to put together and it can be used to help air clothes.

I have the 1056 model already since about 2 years, and I got 2x "used good" of this 650 model for £40 each as fans for the kids bedrooms.One had a clicking noise so was returned (Maeco support was great), but the other one has been flawless. It runs quiet and is powerful. At maximum power I'd says it feels about 60-70% as powerful as the bigger 1056 model on Max. In my opinion this is good enough for most bedrooms, offices and probably even front rooms.Features:- comes fully assembled, so its plug and go.- has a useful current temperature display,- eco mode that adjusts fan speed based on temperature- quiet vs traditional fans.- horizontal oscillation (but not vertical like the 1056)- remote control that can be attached to fan housing.- it will run from a power bank (but is probably unupported)- slightly smaller dimensions than 1056 model- now USB-C powered and port is more robust (some of the older reviews are micro-usb which has reliability issues)The main downside is that the standard price of £80-90 is pretty high when the 1056 model is often on sale for not much more. So I had to knock off a star.This doesn't make it a bad fan only that you can get the more powerful model with vertical oscillation for not much more.If you can get this model for around £60 or less on offer or that I'd recommend you to grab it. If you have to pay full price then i'd probably watch for a couple of weeks to see if an Amazon discount/offer to come up on either the 650 or 1056 models.
