Bird feeder 'Huis'

This product is well built, I added two screws to the sides of the dishes to ensure they wouldn't slip out of place & smash. Unfortunately the birds just don't seem to like this bird feeder or the seed that was supplied with it. I've added the seed I usually put out for the birds but still haven't seen a single smaller bird on the feeder. The only bird that has fed from it very awkwardly I might add since I installed it onto my back fence is a very large wood pigeon who was very determined and was able to get a fair amount of seed from the feeder which I don't mind at all but it is designed for the smaller birds which I usually have a lot of in my garden & like I said before I haven't seen one feed from it at all, even after putting seed on the roof of the feeder below to try to encourage them to use it. The feeders look very nice but I am really hoping all of the smaller birds that usually visit my garden will start to use this feeder!

Having a cat (although has never brought anything dead into the house) I wanted something I could mount on a wall out of feline range, 3 weeks passed with no visitors, and the food level unchanged, then the sparrows found it :) Very popular with the little ones, and too small for Sea Gulls to land on, so perfect :)

The images for this product appear to have been update since I purchased this bird feeder. Ridiculously, there is no protection for the ceramic bowls to the sides meaning that they could easily fall off with high winds or a determined squirrel seeking nuts. I am in two minds whether to keep this and make some modifications or return it and buy a better quality one.

The concept is excellent and makes it so easy to refill the dishes without taking anything apart. However, the birds managed to knock a dish to the ground on the first day it was in use.. It needs a couple of nails at each end to prevent this happening - otherwise, it is fine.

Attracts song birds and small garden birds but difficult for the bigger birds to balance and steal the food eg pigeons and crows (not that I've got anything against crows!). I've had a pair of nuthatches enjoying their seeds from the little ceramic trays. Attaches easily to a fence with one screw.

Very nicely made and attractive bird feeder but the birds don't seem to want to feed from it. It is very small and I think it would be more inviting if it were much larger. I still use it in hope the birds will eventually feed from it, and it does look very nice.

Its very rarely that i write a bad review, however with this item I have to warn others, that what you see in the pictures is not, I repeat not what you get, its smaller than it looks, also the seed box is not that bigmore like 1/2 inch tall, so not very impressed at all, wasnt here when delivered other wise they would of gone straight back

The item you receive is a tiny house with no ceramic dish and just thin scraps of wood badly glued together
