No Shine Bonding Double Sided Tape Walker 1" x 3" Straight Strip 36 Pieces Per Bag

I had to come back and write another review on this double-sided tape. I wrote a review when I first received the tape and used it twice and was not happy at all with the results BUT after some tweaking, this tape is AMAZING. I purchased the tape to hold down my lace front wigs, so what I do now is before applying the tape, I don't use water to wipe my forehead, I use alcohol! The alcohol truly makes a difference because it removes all remnants of any oil or grease on my skin. Then I use my hand fan to dry the area and then apply the tape. In taking these steps, the wig stays in place for 2-days! Oh yeah, I also cut the tape strips in half the long way, making them thinner so I don't have to pull the wig down far on my forehead. The maker of these strips should consider offering a thinner tape to their customers. But this tape is great and I recommend it to anyone wanting to use it for lace wig applications. 5-stars in my book! It was only right that if I could write a bad review to come back and correct it; I had to.

Strong hold for days and no shine

If your a person who takes their wig off every night like I do this tape is very strong, I had a hard time getting my wig off especially the neck area. Very very strong.

Works better than any other tape.

I purchased this tape based on the reviews stating it had a fairly good hold. I have never had any luck with tapes, but figured I would try this one. I have a naturally low hairline so I cut the tape to be about half the width that it was so even if it caught onto my fine baby hair, it wouldn't be too bad. Well, it stuck to my baby hair and that was it. The wig was brand new, no oils or anything on it and it came right off. However, on my natural hair it stuck like chewing gum. I had to use baby oil to remove it. I would not recommend.

I have purchased 10+ varieties of tape for hair extensions throughout the years and this one is by far the easiest to use.It does not pull your real hair out when it is time for removal but it stays put when applied. I have used this for 6 months or so and I amVery happy with it. It's extremely easy to use because it has a pull tab for application.

Holds well alone for daily wear, but with adhesive glue for extended wear. Something about the tape strips makes my head hurt after a few days of wear.
