Solid product
My first impression too (like another respondent) was mild surprise at the stoutness of the metal rings. That's not a detraction but rather an observation of a pleasant surprise given the low price for the product. As a reminder, this is just the bare dual ring net without rigging. To use this, one must add a harness - retrieval line, along with a bait box or bait pin. Also the netting was just the right size for both west coast and keeper sized east coast crabs. The mesh will allow very small undersized immature crabs to drop out so it's legally perfect in that regard.Having said that, in order to get the most from this product, one really needs to rig this thing up right or else it won't work to its heavy duty advantage. IMHO, using para-cord, while functional, simply isn't enough; I rigged mine with not three, but four stainless steel snap links into a four rope Danielson harness with a central ring. The ring was then attached via another stainless steel locking snap link to a 50 Ft 5/16 Poly-nylon rope. I bought all the rope and snap links at home depot. Together, the entire thing functioned perfectly; I was able to manhandle the thing and pull up quickly, allowing me multiple captures in the net on almost every pull. I used this with a Danielson glowing bait pin. The wide size of the net would also allow multiple bait pins if you wanted to do so. Oh, and keep the box and plastic bag that it comes in. You can then lay it flat into the trunk of your car so that the net can slide in and out of the box and bag to store for transport. This protects the mesh net from snagging on other items in your vehicle while allowing other things to be stacked on top of it without worry. The only "drawback" (if one can even call it that) is that the large size of this net makes it relatively unwieldy for anyone younger than an older teen. That is, a smaller child won't be able to get full use out of this net or may find it hard to handle. To be fair, that isn't the fault of the product; it's designed large for a purpose and that is to catch crabs easily. It does this with aplomb. Five stars easily.

Best bridge/pier net you can buy !!!!
Have used this net for the past few years and finally it had to be replaced. Went to Dick's sporting goods store where the purchase was first made only to find out they no longer carry it. Looked and looked for a replacement and was unable to find it listed as a bridge/pier net, and as luck would have it and searching online found it listed as a crab net. The only difference between this one and the previous one is that this one didn't come with the line to get it to the water, no big deal used the one from the old net. Someone stated about trying to figure how to attach the rope to the net, you can go to The Home Depot or Lowe's or any hardware store and buy 3 Zinc-Plated Safety Pins which cost less than $2.00 for a twin pack. Just remember you want to use 3 of these on the 32" ring and the 4th one can be used on the drop line. Just make sure the knot in the drop line will not slip. Hopefully this will help the other fisherman out there. Catch a lot of fish and good luck.

So far so good
First impression: these rings are much thicker than I expected.I used my calipers and they both have a diameter of .35 Inches or 9.5mmOnly thing I have to do is learn how to tie on my 550 paracord onto two/three sides of this crab net.I plan on using this crab net for pulling up the big fish while on the pier. I'll also just leave it at the bottom of the pier while its not in use for catching the illusive crabs.I'll update soon after a few fishing trips of putting this to use.

Great Net!
I grabbed these to go crabbing at Lawsons (dillons beach) Landing with our boat. These worked great! I ended up buying a pre-made rope for these (had clips to attach to the rings) witch saved time tying a bunch of knots.I tied a fish head to the center and threw them overboard. 10 min later pulled up a net full of deliciousness

really nice trap. the rings are solid and the net seems well made. our first use of the net was successful. we tied four chicken legs in center and mid way of the rings we tied three at different spots on the net. pulled six crab in on the first pull. love it and would recommend this trap to anyone who wants to enjoy the crab catching.

Description says aluminum rings, but the item label says ...
Description says aluminum rings, but the item label says steel rings which I verified because they are attracted to a magnet. Other than that, it seems to be well-made and is a large size, so I may keep anyway.
