Cerrosafe Metal
A simple explanation of the melting and pouring procedure was provided in the instructions, which did not include an excessive amount of technical jargon. Despite the fact that this was my very first time utilizing Cerrosafe for anything other than a basic test pour, I thought it was fairly straightforward for me to follow up with the instructions. In addition, the instructions underlined the temperature range of 158–190 degrees Fahrenheit, which let me know exactly when I should anticipate it to be completely molten. This provided me with the assurance that I would not run the danger of overheating the alloy or accidentally harming it as I was going through the procedure. As soon as I began heating the product, I saw that it melted considerably more quickly than some of the other metals that I had previously used for tasks that were very comparable. Because of this, I was able to avoid having to often increase the temperature or wait for an extended period of time in order to get the desired consistency. I utilized this product in a rather simple setup, which consisted of a modest heat source and a pouring container. I was pleased to discover that the metal melted completely without leaving any gritty residue or contaminants behind. Due to the fact that it was a smooth melt, I was able to pour it into my chamber mold with pinpoint accuracy.

A little baggy of metal pucks
I've been slowly getting into metal work using a small foundry. The next step after your standard aluminum is to explore other metals. This is a low temp metal which will use less power to get fluid and allows the use of non standard forms liki silicone. Definitely fun to tinker with to get more experience. It is pricey for the amount of metal you get.

This didn’t work for me
I bought this so called cerrosafe alloy as I had misplaced the Cerrosafe alloy I bought from Brownells. I tried three times to cast a rifle chamber with this product. All three times I had to melt it out of the chamber. Found the Cerrosafe I bought from Brownells and tried it. The Brownells Cerrosafe worked as it should.

Not Cerrosafe
Not marked in any way (like Cerrosafe is). Nor does does it look like the picture. No reason for me to trust it.

Works as advertised
I used a very small amount to extract a broken shell case from my 1873. Worked great!
