Perfect for Samsung Book5 Pro 14" and Galaxy Tab 10+
This bag fits my Samsung Book5 Pro 14" and Galaxy Tab 10+ perfectly. Also have plenty of room for the mouse and charger. I will say, the Book5 Pro 14" is about the max for this size bag though. As small as possible with high quality construction was the goal and this bag does the trick. For a few years I have been using an E-bags Slim Pro backpack but since I downsized to a 14" laptop, I wanted a smaller bag as well. I like the minimalist styling to avoid extra attention and it is well built. Downsizing to this bag just makes life on planes and public areas easier. The laptop will not hit the floor if I drop the bag since it is raised from the bottom of the bag so it keeps tech safe. The straps are comfortable enough, with the weight I have in the bag it could have a little extra cushion but by no means a deal breaker. With just the laptop and no tablet, zero comfort issues. With both items, comfortable but eh, could use a little more padding for one shoulder use.The zipper in the main compartment can get stuck on the rain guard flap at times but you eventually get the hang of it and now it rarely happens to me. Ultimately, rather have the rain protection than not.If you are in a high theft area, I would be cautious what you put in the small zipper compartment since pulling downward opens it. Granted, the way the storage is set up in there, nothing should fall out. You can always remove the little pull tab as well if it is a concern. If I could change anything, just a pinch more padding on the straps and I would say adding more colors would help make this product even better than it already is.

Awesome for travel
Great pack. Little stiff at first but gets easier to store things in with use. Plenty pockets and space if you pack smartly.

Great bag
I wish the straps had a bit more padding but I like it

Sceptical at first, but it has really grown on me.
It took a long time to decide to purchase this. Read everything I could find about this pack and decided to purchase even though I wasn't 100% convinced it would fit the bill.I don't carry a lot so the pack being only 12L is OK for me, though 15L would be ideal. It fits a 13" laptop with some room to spare (this might hold a slim 14" laptop). The laptop pocket is pretty well padded. In the main compartment I carry a pouch with a bunch of tech stuff (cables, adapters, mouse, etc.). This is stored alongside a puffy jacket that fits into a drawstring pouch. There's also a separate pocket for a water bottle where I carry a power bank for the laptop. In the small inside pocket on the front part of the main compartment, I carry some wireless earbuds and smaller bits and pieces. At the front of the laptop sleeve there are a couple of flat but stretchy pockets that fit something about the size of a passport. I sometimes put my phone in there. In the front outside pocket there's a notebook, pen, and glasses case. Most of what is in there is relative flat, except for the glasses case. There's a strap with a ring at the end for keys, etc. but I don't use that and mostly find that annoying as I always carry my keys on my body. There are some Alpaka accessories that are compatible with that, but I also don't use those. The shoulder straps are comfortable and have loops to attach Alpaka accessories also. I can't see myself getting those as having things flapping around as I walk doesn't appeal. All up, there's not a lot in the pack. There's still some room for other small things (e.g. a Bluetooth speaker) that I sometimes carry. The pack isn't expandable in any way and there's no option to attach anything outside the pack to increase the load capability, so, if your load-out is likely to increase over time, you could find you outgrow the pack. The pack is sturdy, so it's nice to put things into it and take things out of it. When opened the front doesn't flop, and the pack maintains it's shape. The pack isn't full of pockets of useless sizes. It seems the compartments have been well thought out. When initially loading the pack I had to give some thought around what would go where, given the limited number of pockets. This was initially annoying, but we'll worth the effort and now, after a couple of months of use, things are easy to access and the pack is loaded in a balanced manner. The zippers are relatively smooth and based on the specs they are supposed to be water resistant. I haven't tested this, but this isn't a concern for me. One thing I've found a little annoying is that the may compartment appears to be double-lined on the outside. This could be to make the pack more weather-proof, but it feels funny. I also think better use could have been made of that by adding an additional external pocket at the top.The backpack sits well on my back as is very comfortable to carry either properly, using both straps, or just with a single strap. It has a nice design in that you can swing the pack towards your front and access the front pocket in an upright manner. This only works if you're right-handed. If you're left-handed, you're out of luck.Personally, I would have preferred a couple of loops on the front of the pack to attach carabiners (e.g. to strap my jacket to and make some room in the main compartment) but the minimalistic design is growing on me.One thing I haven't made up my mind about is whether I like the idea of the water bottle pocket being internal. My water bottle fits in there perfectly, with enough slack to be easy to stow or remove, but I stopped using it in preference for storing the power bank there because, in the event of a leak, all my electronics would get wet.Even with the above slightly negative design observations, I'm very happy with the pack. Something that would be a significant design improvement would be to have the laptop sleeve being a separate compartment at the back of the pack. The larger version of this pack has that, but the price is ridiculous and the pack is too big for my needs. The Fljarven Kanken 13 has an external laptop sleeve so adding it to this size pack shouldn't be an issue.

small bag, great but small
I use this as an office bag and it is perfect. Fits my large water bottle with room for lunch. The front zipper pocket is awesome and the key leash is great for my work keys. Very well built and the material is very strong and nice.

What I was looking for
Really like it for like meetings and laptop bag. Don’t carry much so works great. Just starts to get awkward when you start to add bulky things in it. But looks great.

Near Perfect, but did not keep
Could've been the best backpack I've ever had with a near perfect combination of organization and easy access. It literally has a place to keep ALL of my items nice and neatly tucked, but unfortunately it's just not comfortable to wear. The back panel is hard and the load sits in a position on my back that makes it feel heavier than it is. The pack doesnt contour at all so if it's loaded, it digs almost immediately when you put it on. I'd also say that the straps are too thin adding to the discomfort.I'd like to see a 15-18L version thats slightly taller and wider and with better straps. The 12L despite it's near perfect organization and ease of access will sadly be returned.
