A very nice , solid and well made . Fits good in the hand and very sharp .

I just got it and out of the box it's a beauty. Extremely Sharp and the balance point is in the handle in other words the handles quite heavy compared to the blade which is excellent. After listening to other reviews I thought this was going to be an extremely thin blade but it's not. The sheath is nice but I think it needs a bit of oil to soften it up a little bit. But as usual they hit it out of the park with this one.

This is the first time ive ever written a review on Amazon. Listen. The knife is awesome, solid, super ergo, slices like a dream, great knife. However, the sheath? Uh uh. I’ve seen better leather come out of Indonesian sweatshops. I can’t even begin to describe the feeling of this terrible piece of “leather”, it’s similar to that of a toy banana or toy baseball bat youd play with as a kid. Seriously opt for the version with the kydex sheath. The awesomeness of the scandi blade makes up for this abysmal sheath quality.

Excellent knife as is the case with all ESEE knives. The Scandi grind on the blade makes for good bushcraft work around camp. The lifetime guarantee makes for reassurance that if (as unlikely as it may be but if... ) you should damage or break your ESEE knife send it to them and they will replace it with NO questions asked. No other major manufacturer out there that I know of is offering this kind of confidence in their product.

This is The Perfect Knife. I have many but this is small enough to pocket carry in an aftermarket kydex sheath, large enough to use for most knife tasks. Well built, lifetime warranty. This is a: BEST CHOICE.

very well made, including the sheath, and seems like it was born for heavy daily use. unless you are in the habit of batoning bricks, this feels like a blade your grandchild will enjoy using. made in the usa too! nice knife!

It's a great knife but I has to add a paracord to the end to pull it out if the sheath reliably.

I own 3 ESEE knives. I love them all. The RB3 is the easiest to sharpen with the scandi grind. I really enjoy the no thrills design and the simplicity of this knife. Paired with my PR4, it's an amazing combination.
