I have never used a Lagun table mount so I cannot compare but for a stand alone product it seems pretty good. Only drawback is that the sliding adjustment features seem a little too sticky and the adjustment handles make a pretty loud squeaky noise when tightening down. For the price these drawbacks don't bother me. Perhaps a few dabs of plastic friendly grease would help but I have yet to try that. All the hardware is of solid quality.

Half the price of the name brand competitor. This product was easy to install. I did have to order some longer bolts from McMasterCarr because I installed some 2x6 blocking on the inside of my sofa to ensure this thing is sturdy.I ordered a separate mounting plate from another manufacture so I could use the table in more than one place. Unfortunately, the mounting plate from the different manufacture doesn’t work with the tables arm. Most, if not all, of the manufactures have drawlings with product dimensions/specs. Double check to make sure the products have same deminsions before ordering.All in all I would buy it again.

Support a large piece of wood for my table/desk needs in my camper van. Very sturdy. It can be adjusted spatially and up and down for little ones! No reason why I would get a much more expensive known brand! This is awesome!

I like the table, but please sell an extra base bracket (so we can add a mounting location) and longer leg or leg extension. I tried to buy an extra base bracket, but unfortunately they're not an exact fit.It would be nice to have a 26" tall leg or an extension to bring the current leg up to 26".

I think the table was of good quality. I had to return it as I didn't have a place in my camper that would support it.
