I ordered this dog car seat for my new puppy (2 months) hoping for a secure center console mount. The car seat was easy to construct and has a variety of straps to flexibly provide a variety of mounting options. When I installed the car seat, I realized that my Audi A4 center console is a bit complex and doesn't have enough space to be able to install the strap that would secure the rear portion of the car seat. I guess it would be difficult to be able to design for every consideration, but I thought it was important to share should others not consider checking before purchasing. The seat still holds down relatively well with a front strap and the two rear straps secured to each of the vehicle's seats. It still does make me a bit nervous, so I will likely move the seat to the rear of the car instead. That said, the car seat itself is really nice and plushy, just be careful to check it if works well for your needs and the car's.

Not as big as I was expecting but my girl doesn't mind. She loves her seat and it lets her look out the windshield perfectly!
