Light, Airy and Average...
This RomCom, starts off with almost the exact same scene as Bridesmaids. It is quite bizarre that they were made in the same year and both start with a female waking up before her boyfriend and sneaking to the toilet to arrange herself to look amazing, when he wakes up.It is an easy and light watch and the female ear bumbles her way through tracking her previous lovers, with the help of her lothario neighbour. Will the two of them get together? You will have to watch and see. The visiting of the exes is done in in the form of a stand lone sketch and that works just fine. It gets the job done and each meeting is mildly amusing. There is nothing new to see here really, the idea may be slightly different but it has been done before and better. If you fancy a lighthearted wander through someone's sex life, then give it a go. Don't expect to be amazed or laugh out loud. It is very average at best.I do not receive any payment or free goods for writing these reviews. I am just happy to share my views on my purchases with fellow like minded Amazonians in the hope that you may find it helpful.

Well made slightly unconventional romcom
It's consistently good with no notable wobbles where it gets very good or very bad. It remains on a flat level field of good. Obviously that is not a bad thing. It just means that there isn't much to actually say about the movie beyond it's good. This consistency gives the film a slightly bland, easy to forget quality even though it has plenty of spiky bits. It's not a bland movie, it just maybe plays too smoothly for its own good. All I can add is that it's an amusing film with an appealingly goofy lead actress. The story is interesting and quickly paced. And it's quite coarse with more graphic sex talk than is usual for a romcom. The ending is a little flat and indifferent with a contrived (although acknowledged and poked fun at) bit of unnecessary racing against time. There really isn't much, if at all any, reason for the couple not to be together once they work out they like each other so it's not one of the greatest romantic stories ever told with endless obstacles to overcome. It's a very solid, sturdy movie with a bit more broader humour than is usual for the genre. I liked the movie and I would recommend it.

Fun comedy, great idea !
I watch a lot of films and comedy is the genre that I find has so many films that are basically the same idea done over and over again, particularly romantic comedies but I found this one to be something new, a bit different to what I had expected too.I thought the premise of it was an interesting one and it lead to some hilarious moments.Basically the central character Ally played by Anna Faris reads an article in a magazine that says women who have dated more than 20 men will have trouble getting a husband, so after reaching the limit she decides to revisit all her past boyfriends to find out if one of them really was 'the one'.I laughed alot throughout the film and though the story and dialogue were very funny, I think it was Anna Faris that took it to the next level, she really is fantastic in this and along with a top supporting cast which includes Chris Evans they take a good comedy and make it a great one .I can't believe this is the only review on here, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good comedy or just likes films in general, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Silly and lowbrow, yet endearing tosh
This review could be summed up in two words: `Anna' and `Faris.' Need I say more? Yes? Oh, okay then.If you don't know, Anna Faris is fast catching Cameron Diaz up as the `dippy, but loveable blonde.' Here she plays a girl who decides she's slept with too many men and decides to track down all twenty of her exes to see if one of them was actually Mr Right. She does this with the help of her neighbour, played by Chris Evans.Does anyone actually watch a romantic comedy and wonder whether the two leading characters will or won't get together in the end? Probably not, so I won't go there. Instead I'll mention that Anna does track her previous guys down in a series of almost `sketch-like' chapters. This is hardly the work of genius scriptwriters, but, in this case, it gets the job done, as each man she revisits is pretty funny each time.Faris is silly, dippy, attractive and falls over a lot, but then that's what she does. And, if you're not into that sort of performance, you'll probably hate this film. However, if you want a daft romantic (kind of adult) comedy, there are worse around. I laughed and I don't normally laugh at `boy meets girl' type of flicks.Grab the popcorn and put your brain on hold long enough to wonder whether Anna and Chris decide that, despite their differences, they're really meant for each other. Almost brings a tear to my cynical eye.

Anna Faris at her best!
What a thoroughly enjoyable film this is! I was already a fan of Anna Faris through seeing her in "I Give It A Year" and "Just Friends" - but this was the first time I'd seen her as the central lead character and she carries this film effortlessly! Beautiful and thoroughly likeable throughout, she is a wonderful, if underrated, comedy actress we ought to see more of! A hilarious romantic comedy not to be missed by any fans of the genre!

I didn't expect a great deal from this movie
I didn't expect a great deal from this movie, having heard that it was a fairly run-of-the-mill, not particularly outstanding rom-com, but I was very pleasantly surprised! What's Your Number is genuinely funny and did an excellent job of keeping my attention for even the extended cut (you get both theatrical and extended versions with the DVD). The cast is unexpectly full of brilliant actors who, although they each feature only very briefly, make the film delightfully varied and engaging. Also, surprisingly for a rom-com, this film left me feeling incredibly optimistic - I might even go so far as to call it 'uplifting'!All in all a couple of hours very well spent and definitely one I shall re-watch.
