I Never Knew That About Wales Paperback – February 26, 2015

Fascinating facts and information about the English. I ordered this as a gift for my son-in-law-to-be, who is from England. He was amazed at how much he didn't know, and enjoyed reading more and more. I had looked at a few entries before wrapping it and found the book to be well-organized by topic, clearly written, and easy to just pick up, open at random, and learn something new. I plan to get more in this series.

I enjoyed this book about Wales, its counties, towns and lore...I would have liked some maps throughout the chapters to better follow the county locations but all in all a very enjoyable read...I bought his other books on England, Scotland and Ireland

Great book but the book looked like it had been on a shelf for a long time as it was discolored.

This quiriky book covers everything rangeing from informative and inspiring to the facetious and pointless as it affects Scotland.Following a section on kings,clans and castles the author gives details of the countrys traditions,trimphs,disasters,foibles,quirks,customs and castlesThe book is no douubt a labour of love and the author is to be congratulated vvith his collection of facts.Thyi8s book should be read by every Scot or any other person interested in Scotland.

Very well written. Witty and funny. You learn a lot about weird facts about Yorkshire, the largest valley in England, and its people. It is worth a read.

I bought this book for my stepdad who is originally from Yorkshire, he is delighted with it particularly since he can relate to so much of what is in the book, he has spent a lot of time giving me little snippets of information from the book with all the various anecdotes
