Really sloppy
Purchased two, both the same in being really sloppy at the joint, can wiggle the handles probably 2cm vertical separation. The pivot joint is at the extreme top end not midpoint like scissors. For me makes it tricky to get the two blades level on either side of a lid. Seem sturdy enough but not as easy to use as the alternative pair I purchased after these.

Can b tricky to place on jars lids
Don’t know if it’s just me but I found it a little tricky to place correctly on jar lid, but when on works perfectly. I purchased this as a third choice for me to use as one other style worked well but did break as the hinge couldn’t stand a the strain, unlike this one that seems a lot sturdie.

Poor Quality
The rivet connecting the two halves is too loose, leaving handles flopping about rather than smoothly gliding open and closed. I bought this to replace something similar which is 30 years old - this one is worse than the one I was going to throw away!
