This does seem to run just a bit big. Based on reviews and size chart I bought a large, I typically wear a size 10 and 36C but I have a long torso so a lot of high waisted things don’t always reach as high as they look in pictures. Because it runs a bit big the bottom definitely isn’t sucking anything in but it is still flattering and I felt cute trying it on. I would recommend this and would buy it again in another pattern.

I have gained some weight over the last year and a half due to menopause, so I needed a new suit for vacation. This was perfect in the picture and I read reviews so I looked at the size guide to order. I'm very busty (40DD and sometimes DDD). I also have a high waist, so typically, body suits and one pieces aren't long enough. The high bottom suit is great for that. It just barely goes over my belly button. But it does cover it. At 53, I'm not trying to show off anything. I just want to still be slightly sexy. For your reference, I'm a muscly 200 lbs and 5"5'.I purchased the large because the size chart recommended size 12/14 should be a large. It wasn't until I tried it on and was not able to wear it that I double checked the size chart. Just under the "L" and "12/14" it gives measurements. When I was a size 10, my measurements matched those, but as a tight 12/ loose 14, my waist is definitely not 30". Let's just say that I looked STUFFED into this suit. Especially the top. I'm going to keep it though in hopes that I'll be able to wear it by the end of the season. It will be my goal. For the price, I'm okay with that. If it were a $75+ suit, I'd be exchanging it right now. Quality-wise, I'll give it a 3½ out of 5. The fabric is a little thin and the stitching is tight over the elastic, preventing it from stretching. I'd be afraid that the stitching could break.

I want to say the swimsuit is beautiful and of very good quality. Why I gave it three stars is because I’ve bought the pink swimsuit I sizes S M and L. The cup size of the top is far off. The medium and large bathing tops are built for people with large breasts. The small swimsuit breast cups fit me. Yet I would need the waistband in a medium. So either way the top won’t fit me right. But the bottoms are correct for me. If you are small chested you will find the top challenging. I may have to wear the medium top unless I loose more weight for the small top. Other than that it’s a beautiful swimsuit. The picture I submitted is the large bathing suit on the left. The medium in the middle. And the small on the right.

Oh my goodness this is adorable. I'm not fond of my tummy and this covered it well. The cups fit well, but the back strap doesn't adjust so it goes over the head to get it on. I would have liked to have had it open so it was easier to get off when wet.

Ladies!!!!!! Stop, look, and listen! This is the best bathing suit I have ever owned. Please don't be afraid if you are a curvy girl. I was a little skeptical, but read the reviews here and looked at the customer photos (thank you for those of you brave enough to post one - you ALL look beautiful). I ordered this suit before my family vacation to the beach and have never been as happy with a bathing suit. I didn't feel self-conscious at all, which is a very big deal for me! I am a size 18 and this suit is very flattering for all body types. How do I know this? Because my sister (who is a size 10) fell in love with this suit and ordered it on the same day that I wore it! It looks just as great on her! There are so many things to love about this suit, that I will make a list:1) Just look at it! Vintage is in and this bathing suit allows ANYONE to look vintage chic. I even had some big red sunglasses from the dollar store that completed the look. I actually had 3 women stop me on the beach the week we went to ask me where I bought it. (You're welcome, Amazon.)2) Support up top: I am a C/D cup and have a couple of bathing suits I can't wear in public. Last summer one of my boobs actually floated out of my suit at the public pool. Not kidding. The cups for this top will stand up by themselves, which is actually a good thing when you want your breast to stay put - not too high and not too low. (More on that in a moment.)3) Bottoms can be adjusted higher or lower: The material for the bottom of this suit ruched, which is great for several reasons. One is that it is great camouflage if you happen to have a fluffy belly, mom pouch, or just like to be covered. The other great thing about this is that there is extra material to work with if you would rather the bottoms come up a little higher than the stock photos. I highly encourage you to look through the customer photos - I would not have known I could do this if I had not seen the various ways other women wore them.4) Bottoms actually stay where they are supposed to: This is a HUGE deal for me, especially at the beach. I play with my son and nephew hard - we build sandcastles, dig for sand fleas, fish, pick up shells, etc. There are many chances for these bottoms to start creeping up since I am often on my hands and knees digging, building, or playing. We are also getting up and down off of the ground over and over. I have never had a suit that I did not have to try to casually pull out of my crack to recover my butt cheeks time and time again. This suit delivered! I wore it three days down to the beach and didn't accidentally moon anyone! Nor did my boobs fall out at any time. Double score!!!!The only warning I have is to pay attention to the size chart and read some of the other questions and reviews so that you get the right size. They are not going to seem right, but they are. As I said, I am a size 18 and I got a 5X. My size 10/12 sister? A 2X. Follow the company's suggestion and you will be fine. I am considering buying this again in a different colorway and fazing out all my other swimsuits that have caused an indecent exposure incident!

I was so excited for this bathing suit to arrive which just made the disappointment even worse.It does look exactly like the photos so bonus. The material is what it needs to be. The bottoms fit perfectly but the top has a hard form to it so there was a two cup size gap between the top and my boobs.You couldn't tell by looking but the moment I would have laid down or held onto something, the cup would have been indented in.Since it comes as a set, I would have had to buy a size small top probably and hope that I could still fit it over my head just to get the cups to fit.Definitely disappointing.5'5" 36B 175lbs

I was so excited for this because it's so cute and retro looking and when I took it out of the package, it felt like a thick, good quality material. Unfortunately, the top was way too big on me (I am at 32D and I ordered the medium.) The bottoms fit although slightly tight in the waist (for reference my hips are 38.5 and waist 28). Just overall wasn't a great fit for me, would be better for someone whose hips and bust are closer in size. If I could have done a small in the top and medium in the bottoms this may have worked.

The bottoms are not as they appear in the photo at all. The top is incredibly small in width and not proportional at all. You’d think if I’m ordering an XL or XXL, the designer would figure out that there are women with larger frames who need wider placement for the breast cups.

The top structure is too heavy for such a lightweight band, the band just crinkles instead of sitting flat and firm.The bottoms aren’t very firm or shaping either.Overall the size is ok, but it was really confusing trying to work out the right size to order from the mix of size descriptions and charts on the listing.If it hadn’t been a US import meaning costly return postage fee, I would’ve returned it.Updated after more wear - Really unhappy with the fit of the top.

The bottoms of this fit me great! But the top is not adjustable and it is cut super weirdly. It fit around my middle quite well but the cups were ridiculously tiny. My boobs were all squished in an odd way. I'm going to hang on to the bottoms but the top went in the garbage, sadly.
