I got this originally for food delivery, safety, and convenience as I drive around to my destinations. Before I would have my phone on my lap, leg, driver, and passenger seat. Well, I would never be comfortable with it sitting on my body or if I needed to look at it whenever I used google maps to find out what my next directions were I would have to fumble around with it until I got what I needed, or at the worst case scenario end up missing the said next direction and have to take a detour. Safety reason is that my eyes would be more on the road, less time (if any) fumbling with my phone to get to a particular result. Convenience wise my phone will almost always be in my peripheral vision as I drive.Like Time: I liked the magnetisim between the mount and the thin metal plate. Nice and strong. I even have slight difficulty pulling or sliding them apart from one another so I know that the magnet isn't cheaply made. I have a Galaxy S6 with an Otter Box case (I forget the specific name of the case. If that info is valuable or not) which makes my phone slightly more bulky. The Wizgear has no difficulty holding up my device as I drive. It can rotate at the "base" of where the square magnet meets the mounting device. Great for Youtube or other viewing choices (I do NOT condone ANYONE watching videos as they drive. Their motorized vehicle should be parked! Preferably with E-Brake firmly engaged as well for further safety). Installing Phone to Mount? Laughably easy to install. You can use the adhesive metal plates (I got two with the specific Wizgear I bought. One rectangle and one small circular. I'm unsure if all of the Wizgear product mounts comw with this many) to stick to your phone or the case itself to always have it ready. The other metal plate is non-adhesive which you can place between your phone and it's case (if you like changing cases often and don't want to be stuck using one specificly). Just another option which is great for someone who likes multiple choices. Also the magnet has not disrupted my device as I used it. I feared that the magnet would be strong enough to pull something internal in my phone apart or mess up a signal so it wouldn't work. I know it is "product safe", but how many companies have claimed that before and failed.Dislike Time: I vaguelly disliked the "seperating" process between the magnet and the metal plate for when I am done driving and need to exit my car. The magnet is so good that it can take a few seconds to "seperate" the two. Unless...you don't care to having to "set" the mount's position everytime you enter your vehicle to drive as you "man handle" it. I'm of the mindset that I don't want to have to keep repositioning the mount as I enter the car. I placed my rectangular metal plate on the outside of my phone's case as I didn't want to "damage" the phone itself. I probably should have went with the small circular one as it will be a bit easier seperating the magnet from the plate. Of course this gives less surface area for the magnet to work with and makes it more prone for it to "drop" your phone, but that will only happen from an extreme scenario as in an accident or the deep pot holes (that never seem to get filled). I valued more "protection" (surface area of the metal plate) though. Installing Mount to Vehicle? Was a bit tricky. I drive a Nissan Versa Note 2015 so I had two spots to mount it in my air vents. One of which would have been counter intuitive (passenger side air vent). I reccommend loosening the "jaws" of the mount just enoug so it can slide past the air vent's bar. Otherwise, you'll end up like me holding the mount in one hand and tightening the screw in the other for several annoying seconds until it is firmly gripping the bar for your vehicle's air vent. This is a "user error". Not the device's fault.Overall I like this product a lot. Wish I bought it sooner as it is very convenient! I've had a few different magnetic phone mounts and so far this one is my favorite. I had one of the smaller types that's just a magnet and four prongs, but it kept falling out so I purchased this one. It works great, only problem I had is that my vents would slide back and forth as I was driving. To fix this, I flipped a koozie inside out and stuffed it in one of the sides of my vent (shown in picture), no problems with this since. Also, in the picture I had this attached to the middle bar of my vent, and the mount kept sliding off. Apparently, that middle vent is a bit too wide and goes back too far, so I attached it to one of the smaller bars. Again this fixed my problem and it really latches on there nice. Overall, I'm very happy with this mount.

Works great and holds the weight of my phone only one concern - this size of the unit can block the flow of the vent. The weight of the phone and this holder will not allow me to position the vent upwards to force cool air upwards so the air will flow through the car more efficiently. The vent will only position its self in a down ward or rear forward position so the vent blows directly at you and the size of the unit whack can cover all or most of the vent will be redirected by blowing against the back of the unit and phone then redirecting any available air in multiple directions.Bottom line, works as intended but interrupts the vents function with phone on or phone off the unit.

Haven't been more satisfied in a long time for a product at this price point.1. When the product arrived, I was intially impressed witht the quality of the box it came in. Most say who cares, but that is my first indication of the quality of the company.2. The thin metal plates are a brilliant idea for slipping into the phone case (between the back of the phone and its case) which allows the magnet to hold onto the phone. It comes with more than one sheet of metal in different shapes so it will probably work well with most phones.3. Positioning - I have set the phone on mutiple different vents within the car and placed the phone on holder in both portrait and landscape positions and it holds the phone confidently while driving.Great phone holder. I have already ordered another one for my wife's car. She wanted one immediately after seeing mine. I ordered one initially just to see if it was any good, and it is.I have a Samsung Galaxy S6, and wife has S7.One thing to note which is not a problem with the product just informational, is that depending on where the metal plate is placed within your phone case while your phone is on a wireless charger it may not charge. The metal seems to be blocking the signal. I just had to adjust the position of the metal sheet to allow the wireless charging to work with it in place.

When I first bought this vent mount in September 2018, it looked promising for use on the vertical fins of my 2008 Infiniti G35 car vents. Most other solutions I'd tried had failed or required other ideas to try and keep them secure, that namely being pushing small spring still clips onto the vent fin above and below the mount clip so that the clip couldn't slip or tilt forward, away from the vent and fall off...a very common problem I had seen with most mounts. The small plastic "tooth" at the tip of the clip mason this mount seemed to address that and it worked pretty well, although the phone could still wobble with vent movement. After 7 months however, the plastic of the clip jaws has fatigued and the jaws cannot be tightened enough to hold their grip, even if I try padding them with additional rubber. Fortunately, the mount is relatively cheap, but unfortunately it would be frustrating to have to replace it every time the clip jaws get weak, so I'm about to order another mount from a different maker, with fingers crossed that it works.

Working well so far. Yes it’s a little finicky to attach to the vent but once you get it right and tighten it down, it doesn’t budge! Excellent strong magnets! I have not even stuck the magnet to my phone! I just slid the magnet in between the case and the phone and it stays in place and literally “snaps” right to the magnet it’s just that powerful! To those who have stated they had difficulty tightening the clamp to the vent and making it stay up... try turning it upside down an clamp to vent slat just above half way (or the manual adjuster) or, clamp it to the last slat on the bottom of the vent so that it rests on the solid part of the edge or frame of the vent like we had to do. It stays up perfectly.

Estaba buscando un soporte que fuera realmente potente, ya que con otros me ocurría que algún bache fuerte, el móvil se me caía. Este es espectacular, agarra como un gato sobre moqueta. Encantado.
