Slow burn, but it burns
I enjoyed this book a lot. I didn't read any plot holes, my only issue is it starts so slow I almost DNF it. I'm glad I did. Dafari is the star of this book. He's so multifaceted and well developed.

TAG ME IN THIS BOOK COACH
They Witches of Salix PointeThis is a combined 3 book series review so prepare to be whisked away on a Fanta-Real adventure that blurs the lines of fantasy with reality crafted by two amazing storytelling enchantresses whose words paint a vivid and captivating picture that drew me deep into the story where demons, witches, angels, warlocks, magic, portals, veils and spells occur with earthly beings as they rally to fight evil to save souls and lives of both the good and the bad. This series took me back in time, transitioning and intertwining Biblical content, Greek mythology and Black history making it feel as if you're right there, reliving memories and being in the moment alongside the characters. There were intense earthly, heavenly and demonic connections that lead to fight scenes, sexy dangerous characters that had me questioning my dark side. It reveals deep rooted family secrets, lies, betrayal, hunger for power and at the center of it all, beautiful soul ties from romances and love that literally transcend time. This story will keep the pages turning because who finds a demon sexy…me 💃🏽🙋🏽♀️! Demon Daddy and his sons had me melting trying to merged into this book because everything felt so real like I was there experiencing it along with the characters and did not want it to end.The authors blend of truth and fiction breathes life into the story, while the narrators are simply chefs kiss perfection - embodying every character like celestial artisans, infusing the story with a symphony of emotions and authenticity. The range in dialect flowed like a perfect wave that never broke. It’s is an extraordinary performance. This series is a stroke of creative genius that one day needs to grace the silver screen. If you haven't dived into The Witches of Salix Pointe series yet, it's time to add it to the top of your reading list!

Wonderful story line
This book did an excellent job of allowing us into the world of angels, demons and the mixed race children of the two. As a person who understands and believes in the spiritual realm, I found this storyline, characters and imagery to be fascinating and very well written.I always knew there was something off about Tasman’s father. I hope we find out in the next installment. I can’t wait to read it!!!

Interesting
This book 📖 was very captivating! It starts slow but the burn is awesome. There are some I seen it coming twists and turns but then it turns to wait that's not what I thought. Don't hold your breath on the "steamy " scenes because it's not typical. My eyebrows are raised with this one glad I finally gave it a chance! On to the next one.

Enjoyable
It’s a slow start but a simmer of anticipation before the excitement. The story is written in the four voices of the main characters: Elisa a witch who believes in the ancestors but not magic; Tasmin a witch who has forsaken ancestral knowledge but uses it; Dafari a half arch Angel demon hybrid and his full arch Angel brother Octavian. The story uses Christianity and sprinkles African beliefs within and a few homegrown Southern American history. Much of the Islands off the Carolina’s have a rich history and this novel taps into that backdrop. The chapters can overlap telling one part of the story from usually 2 but sometimes 3 perspectives. I suppose it can be construed as organized head hopping.I enjoyed the story. Well done.

So enjoyable
I've read many urban fantasy novels, but this is one of the better ones for sure.It was really good to read a book of this genre, where black people are centre stage, but that's not what makes this book stand out.As a person not unfamiliar with the craft, there were so many pointers to the author's knowledge and understanding of such things. Many authors write these sort of books but very very few really know what they're writing about. For example, the knowledge of crystals and herbs. Not to mention the petition.Of course this is a fictional story, however the little nuggets of practical knowledge makes me smile. As for the story, twists turns and memorable characters make this a most enjoyable read.
