Welcome help for aging eyes
This fits fine inside my welding helmet and is great for my aging eyes. I wear glasses for distance vision, and age has made the 10 to 24 inch range a little more fuzzy than I'd like. Don't laugh wipper snappers your day is coming too. This "cheater" lens is great for the typical welding distances. Under the helmet bifocals just aren't very practical to address the positions I encounter. Having the cheater installed lets me use the helmet normally. Good price, works great, no complaints. I bought spares, but haven't needed them yet.

Clear Magnifying Welding Lense Clearly Works.
Allows you to see your work and welding area quickly and clearly. The price to see better is modest and well worth it. The lense fit into my welding googles without incident. The Clear Magnifying lense basically replaced the glass lense that was provided with the goggles. Would recommend and repurchase if necessary.

Works nicely but a bit too strong for me
Works nicely but a bit too strong for me. I should've gotten a one and a half (1 1/2) strength. And to be clear, you get one lens. Not four as shown in the pic. Fits nicely in a Lincoln Electric, Viking Model welding helmet. One solid lens piece. I would buy another but not as strong. Feels like I'm in the weld pool or puddle. Ya know? So I'm giving it a four only for that reason.

Perfect for less than perfect eyes
I currently wear 1.25x "readers" for seeing clearly anything closer than 3'. This is a 2x lens and it fits securely right inside both of my auto darkening welding hoods. Really makes it much easier for me to see the puddle and where I'm going with it. I'm new to welding so it's all more difficult for me at this point. At least I can see better.

Fits Forney Torch googles
These are great for the Forney Torch/acetylene googles, but they do fog up like any other cheaters lenes. Recommend you get the anti-fog cleaning spray prior to using them.

I can see clearly now.
Works great. Only reason 4 stars is because of Amazon total lack of care is packaging a shipment. Shipped with other items in one big box. Ordered 5 lb of drywall screws along with many other items. All thrown in one big box, no packaging, at all. Screws from one end of country to other. Damaged this item and others. Big box arrived in "big bag" delivered via fedex to postmaster. Postmaster tried to repack. Every screw was loose in box, items missing. No response from Amazon "packaging feedback," I provided pictures. This item was scrapped up, but what are you going to do, count 2000 screws, send one little item back, spend an hour finding amazon chat? All that said, this item, if not damaged in shipped made a real difference in my welding. Update: Amazon took care of the problem with the shipping, once I found email link, they responded within a couple hours. Good job Amazon. Changed to 5 stars.
