“Gorilla 6055001: The Ultimate Sticky Sidekick!”
Picture this: I’m standing in my living room, surrounded by a chaotic collage of posters, frames, and random DIY projects. My mission? To defy gravity, rearrange the universe, and make sure my wall decor stays put. Enter the Gorilla 6055001 Heavy Duty Double Sided Mounting Tape—my secret weapon against the forces of disorder! Why It Rocks My World:Stickiness on Steroids: This tape doesn’t mess around. It’s like the Hulk of adhesives—strong, unyielding, and ready to lift a house (or at least a few framed cat pictures). Whether it’s wood, glass, or that mysterious material your IKEA furniture is made of, this tape clings like a koala to a eucalyptus tree.Weatherproof Wizardry: Rain? Snow? Heatwave? No problem! This tape laughs in the face of Mother Nature. It’s like having a tiny superhero squad guarding your stuff. I half expect it to whisper, “Fear not, mortal. I’ve got your back.”Double-Sided Delight: It’s like having a Swiss Army knife for home improvement. One side sticks to your masterpiece, while the other side sticks to the wall. Boom! Instant bonding. I’ve hung up everything from floating shelves to my neighbor’s conspiracy theory board (don’t ask).Ninja Stealth: Unlike some attention-seeking tapes, this one blends into the shadows. Black as Batman’s cape, it disappears behind your art, leaving no trace. Guests will wonder if your floating bookshelf is powered by dark magic. Spoiler alert: It’s just Gorilla tape.DIY Dream Team: Need to mount a mirror? Hang up fairy lights? Secure that wobbly shelf? Gorilla’s got your back. It’s the MacGyver of sticky solutions. I even used it to fix my broken heart (okay, not really, but it’s that versatile).Epic Uses:Gallery Wall Galore: I transformed my hallway into an art gallery. The Mona Lisa would be jealous. (Note: My “Mona Lisa” is a cat wearing sunglasses.)Floating Illusions: Suspended my potted plants mid-air. Now they think they’re in a botanical Cirque du Soleil show. Bravo, Gorilla tape!Secret Messages: I stuck a love letter behind my bathroom mirror. My reflection winks at me every morning. Smooth move, Gorilla.Final Verdict:The Gorilla 6055001 Heavy Duty Double Sided Mounting Tape is like the James Bond of stickiness—slick, reliable, and always up for an adventure. So go ahead, defy gravity, rearrange your reality, and stick it to the man (or the wall). Just remember: With great tape comes great responsibility.

Works great. Even works in a car!
I've been using this stuff on a number of things for a while and am quite impressed. It's much better than the classic double sided foam tape we've all been using for so long. It's more flexible so you can push it into corners and cracks better and made of a much better material. If you have to remove it later, it's not easy per se, but unlike the old foam material it doesn't rip apart, so once you get a corner started you can just pull on it carefully to get it off. This stuff actually works so well I used some in my old car just to temporarily hold something in place. Despite very hot temperatures in there (that car runs hot!) and plenty of dust and road grime building up on and around it, it held up for at least a year such that I simply never even bothered to replace it. (Mind you, it may not be strong enough to hold anything that puts any real pressure on it, but for simple things like what I did it seems to actually work.) It's probably a silicone material, so it seems to hold up pretty well over time even under punishment like that. All in all, I'm impressed. It's not as cheap as the old foam stuff, but you get what you paid for. Use the cheap foam stuff for simple tasks and this for the tougher tasks.

This works too well
You may wonder if you should truly buy this. Will it hold what you need it to hold? The answer is yes. Holy smokes batman. I used this to mount my audio interfact underneath my desk. I forgot i did that until i moved recently and it was still under my desk after moving. I also used it to mount my usb hub. Lets just say i spent the past 35 minutes with a ruler and a knife trying to unstick it becsuse i needed it for something else. And now i have a broken nail and im tired. But wow. Its durable

This stuff is decent
Don't expect this tape to solve all of your problems. It's not as sticky as I would've thought, at least the one I received and also it will only hold so much weight. Personally, I'm using this to help with wire management and help with the turn signals on my motorcycle. I think there is something seriously wrong with people on here who expect this stuff to hold up their 30 lbs worth of lights AND hold up to all weather conditions and rain, and then wonder why it eventually falls down. For small items under 10lbs I've had no issues yet. Mounting on metal, plastic, and wood have all been fine and lasted. I recommend using alcohol to prep the area and get rid of any contaminants/dirt/dust/whatever else to make sure to get the best adhesion/stick.

Exceptionally-strong adhesive and rubber tape
The adhesive makes this exceptionally-effective, and the rubber content is substantially thicker than say electric tape.If you're going to move the tape, you don't want to use this. You will N E V E R get the tape off.I experienced no residue, no offensive odors, and cutting is fairly easy.

Didn't work for my application
Used to secure a K&H Kitty Sill Cat Window Hammock. Maybe better than the hook&loop included with the pet shelf, but it broke loose after about 5-weeks with my cat sitting on it. Scared him to death and it took weeks for him to trust it again, after I GLUED it to the tile sill.Might be good for other applications. It was a PITA to remove from the plastic frame of the pet shelf. It was the ceramic window seal it let go of.
