Used for temporary tank while repairing fuel tank

I bought this for $27 it was a good deal. There was no rust in the tank the gas cap did not leak and it bolted right up. There was a small piece of welding slag that somehow got into the threads but it popped out and it was fine. It bolted right up no issues. I think some folks crank bolts and nuts down one side at a time which is probably why there tanks bent. Mine surely didn’t. Also it was packaged well. So maybe they learned from past complaints? Mine was double bubble wrapped and boxed. Shipped quickly. For me it was a god send as I needed it quickly and it was cheap to boot. I believe it will last for years to come with proper care. Mine was used on a Troy-Bilt log splitter that has a Honda Gx-240 motor. Hope this helps. I read the reviews and was sketchy but my experience was good! 👍

exact fit, easy to install

Arrived with plastic fuel line connector instead of metal as described. Did not notice until gas started leaking. Once tightened worked OK. Not happy paid extra $5.00 for metal connector and received plastic. Already in use, so can't return.

Bolted right up but came with paint missing on the side and a few dents in it. Have only used it once but it seems to do what it is suppose to

This gas tank was a exact replacement for my Harbor Freight Predator 212cc motor, the chinesium metal it was made with rusted out. I look forward to being able to edge my lawn again!

The fuel tank worked good, but was shipped in amailing bag and was bent in several places when it arrived. Paint was cracked and I had to touch it up. I had to use it due to not having time to send it back and wait on another one. It should have been shipped in a box. This is the first back experience I have had with Amazon. Hope it is the last.

Although I have not had a chance to install the fuel tank yet or a hydraulic tank I also got through Amazon on a old home made log splitter I am sure they will fit and make it work as new. As for the cost I figure total cost would be only 25% of what a similar new one would be Thank You for the saving help.

The media could not be loaded.  El día de hoy recibí mi compra.Al abrir la bolsa me doy cuenta que uno de los tornillos que agarran el tanque al motor está suelto cuando debería estar bien fijo.Y supuestamente iba a traer el filtro de metal y trae puesto un filtro de plástico como normalmente son.Es la primera compra en la cual no estoy satisfecho con el producto y vaya que ya he hecho muchas compras.Si no puedo resolver lo del tornillo dañado tendré que regresar el producto.
