Hulkman Alpha 100 Review - An amazing Product
We have a 2020 Ford F350 6.7 Diesel that was having some battery / electrical issues and the Hulkman Alpha 100 proved itself to be an absolute beast! The batteries were dead enough that the remote would not unlock the doors - hooked up the Hulkman Alpha 100 and it started without any hesitation. However, the real shock came when looking at the remaining charge on the Hulkman. It was charged to 100% and after the jump there was still 94% left. The next day the battery was dead (again, the remote could not unlock the doors because the batteries were completely run down) so I pulled the Hulkman out (still at 94%), jumped it and it fired right up. The charge remaining was showing 88% - unbelievable. This was not simply a remote issue, the power running boards could not deploy when the door was opened, no interior or exterior lights, no sounds, no dashboard, no nothing - the truck was completely dead.Hulkman - way to go on a superior product! As a side note - I paid for this charger and have no affiliation with the company - the product is truly remarkable. I highly recommend.

ease of use, powerful unit, digital readouts assist you
only used once so far, easy to use, simply charge up, plug cables into battery unit, hook up to battery on vehicle and it automatically is ready to go, after 1 jump still had 95% charge left. Great unit to have peace of mind for battery backup anywhere anytime. No need to find someone to give you a jump, stores easily.

It just works!
I don't normally write reviews but I had to with the Hulkman. I've used to from small cars to a dump truck. It takes maybe 5 seconds then it says ready and that's all it takes. I love Noco chargers and I do NOT like the Noco jumper packs. My Hulkman is 3 years old and still a beast!

Does the job
Solid and a bit heavy. But, for what this item was built to do, I can understand it's weight. For someone with a small vehicle this particular item may be a bit of over kill. This company does make smaller versions for vehicles with smaller cranking needs. If you have several vehicles: small and large, then this would be the item you would want. Whether you have a small vehicle or a large oversized p/u, you can't go wrong buying this product. You would never have to worry about having enough power to start any vehicle up to 10L engines. It also works as a back up charger for your phone. So, it is a bit bulky, but you can rest assured that you'll have the power when you need(which is the most important and number one thing on any list of needs). So, Yes! 5(FIVE) big stars.

BEAST...Lots of power
My car battery was totally dead and the Hulkman started it right fast. I love the digital display and the built in heater for really cold weather. I expect to use it on my stubborn diesel truck this winter. I tested the Hulkman battery capacity with my Atorch DL24P. The rated capacity of the Hulkman is 118wh. Mine came out a bit short at 113.5wh. Other jump starters I tested. Yaber YA60...62.3wh. JF. EGWO F60...77.4wh. Noco GBX155...93.1wh. LOKITHOR J401X...60wh. I really like the Hulkman. It has more battery capacity and like I said I love the digital screen and the built in heater. The Noco GBX155 is ok. I like the attached, longer cables on the Noco. I'm going to keep the Hulkman and give the others away.

I finally got my replacement to work.
The media could not be loaded. 3rd reviewMy replacement finally worked on the 7th try kind of. I added jumper cables from my jeep and the Durango fired right up. Do not trust these over good old jumper cables if you have a truely dead battery. Low battery maybe dead batteries no joy.Revised Review.Customer service has contacted me since my initial review and I have received a new unit from them. This has prompted me to upgrade my rating to 3 stars as I have so far not had a need to use the new unit. We have just recently replaced several sets of well used batteries which prompted my initial review. Once I have had a little more time to use this new unit I will revise my overall review. its only a matter of time before one of my crews kill a set of batteries.I've had this unit a little over a year now. It has never started a 10L diesel truck I've tried and barely will start a sub 7L diesel if the batteries are low in that vehicle. Dead batteries are a no go, get your jumper cables It is well maintained and has not been abused. I would not recommend it for anyone at this point. I had a couple of early issues and customer service was honestly a joke. This was bought to help start Ford F550's and Ram 5500's that the company I maintain these truck for when the batteries are too low and the truck needs to be moved. On another note it will easily start 24hp engines when needed. Again, I spent too much money for it to not live up to the hype. Don't let it get cold. If you try to jump more than three short bursts be ready to wait ten minutes while it decides to let you try again. I know it is a safety feature but my brothers NOCO that's more than half the size let you try a little longer. Tested them against each other starting a Harley that needs a new battery but will turn the bike over at least.
