So we just had a Category 4 Typhoon on Guam. My 8 year old has been pulling out old toys that don't require wifi or electricity, since we have neither. She pulled out this Fairy and was excited that it could fly and entertain her. "Watch, mom!!", she demanded excitedly as I ate my toast this morning outside where it was cooler (no air con). With nothing but the green grass below and the blue sky above, the Fairy took off and flew slowly upwards. Panicking, we began screaming oh no! It's going to land on the roof!!! But, we were wrong. The Fairy ascended upwards and upwards. Higher than a balloon carelessly let go at a child's birthday party. Higher than a drone bothering people below. Higher than a low flying airplane. Higher than a satellite. And now, it is in outer space and we can't see it. We love this toy just for the fact that it actually flies!!

My 5 year old is stoked about this toy and has had non-stop fun with it. It was easy to put together and the toy itself seems sturdy. Mid-flight, the toy has hit the wall or cabinets by accident and fallen every single time but it has not broken. The only downfall is the annoyance of having to turn it off then back on to reset the toy if it has fallen. The noise level is in the mid-range but you do not necessarily hear it through the walls. For $30 I say it is decent and wouldn’t mind getting another variant for my kid if she asked. Battery life seems to be decently long enough. I do enjoy that the toy is rechargeable and how it does not really on regular batteries!

Got this as a Christmas present for my child. She loved it and was so excited when she opened the gift. The only problem is that once she took it outside and used it for a few minutes, it hit the side of the house and one of the wings broke almost immediately. Luckily I was able to exchange it to get a new one that has been working well ever since, but the original problem took a bit of the magic away.

My granddaughter has been playing with it nonstop since she opened it for Christmas. It is very entertaining to a 6 yr old.
