My hair is damaged, dry and brittle as can be, plus it's super thick, heavy and tangles appear out of nowhere, like a magician waved a magic and and poof! Impregnable gnarls everywhere 😒🤦‍♀️ I regret all the hair dye, pool water and rough towels I have used as a teen and young adult. They really have destroyed my hair, and it's all my fault.In January I got my first salon keratin treatment. Amazing. When the stylist was done, I did not recognize my mane. My waist length hair was perfectly smooth, refused to tangle, and had shine, life, not seen on my head since pre-15.You may know, these treatments need to be done on a schedule to maintain the benefits. Although I took great care of my hair (which had no more dye or harsh chemicals in it by that point) after the treatment, the results do fade. It's high time for me to get a fresh treatment, but they are expensive for our budget and the stylist was booked. I decided to try this instead and oh boy, I'm thrilled I did.I wish I had taken photos. I didn't though. I'm sorry.After 2 hours of the mask being in my hair, all piled on top of my head in a hot towel, I rinsed it out, gently squeeze toweled my hair dry, then used my blow dryer. Smooth, beautifully scented, much healthier hair revealed itself within 5 minutes, and each side of my hair only took 5 minutes to blow dry to about 98% dry. Incredible! Usually my hair takes 20 or more minutes to blow dry from a towel dry on each side, then I have to flat iron it, style it. It's awful.But wow! I was so impressed I ran to show my husband. Now I'm relaxing a bit to write this review, and when I'm done I'll go flat iron and lightly oil it to seal. I'm a fan.If this works as I suspect, I won't need to rely on a stylist. I'm going to try doing this treatment every other week for a month to see how I do.I will say, I had to use the whole jar on my head. My hair is ultra thick and half way down my back. If I hadn't recently cut my waist length hair to this length, I easily would have required a jar and a half. Please do consider that when you're trying to work out how much you'll need. I also recommend leaving this on the hair, heated, for at least an hour if you've got damaged hair that you're trying to heal. That's just me though.June 25, 2023 Update:I did another treatment this week. I only needed about 1/6 of the jar this time to saturate my whole head! My hair was much less thirsty for it, which is great improvement. I did the hot towel treatment, then left it all on overnight, so about 12 hours total before rinsing. My hair has come out even nicer. I suspect that I'll keep seeing accruing improvement over time 🥰 My plan is to do a 2-3 hour treatment each week. I blew my hair dry with the hot setting, then used my flat iron at 450°. Then I sealed it with Sleek n Shine Oil from Garnier. I am so in love with this.UPDATE September 2023:Although this product is wonderful for what it is, I miss and strongly prefer the salon treatment with GK keratin products because I only need it once a season, my hair responds far better to it, my hair actually holds curl after it, as in, I can use a straightener and a curl will last a week in my hair with no frizz or tangles, and it dries much faster because it's not holding extra water or product; the strands are healthy and sealed nicely.I was willing to try this for a while, and as an occasional addition to my hair routine to keep up the results of a salon visit is how I see and will use this cream moving forward. Once the results from my salon treatment wore off, this treatment became much less effective for my hair.

This product was recommended to me as I have dry and very curly hair. It smells so good I take a shower wring my hair out apply it in sections. I heat a wet towel up and wrap my hair for 15 min. It helps so much! My curls are a lot softer!

I love this stuff. I have very coarse, wavy, thick hair. In South Carolina I'm also prone to frizz. This leaves your hair soft, manageable, and frizz free. I don't always have 10 minutes to wait with my hair wrapped in a towel. I've tried putting it in my dry hair before showering. I add a little water when I hop in the shower and rinse when I'm finished. That seems to work just as well and saves time.
