Quick and painless installation
Update: After 3 months, the door push is now erratic, so much so you have to hard push it just at the right place otherwise it won't fire. Waste of money.I had an aging wired doorbell an was in two minds whether to just replace the bell pusher. Problem is that every replacement item I could find had bad reviews. Time to get a wireless one.Disconnected the power, disconnected the wiring, pulled off the pusher and stuck on the Byron one. It has sticky pads but also can be screwed. I went with the former as I didn't fancy putting a hole in my uPVC door. Plugged in the mains unit, pressed the doorbell....job done. Both parts of the unit appear robust and well-made. Time will tell on the external button. You can change the ringer volume and the note but was happy with the default - no more missed deliveries.

Great range
I live in an upstairs flat in an old solid stone building. The front door is downstairs and the bell is plugged in upstairs in my hallway. It works perfectly. The cheaper we'll known brand name bell I bought before this one didn't work. I guess the signal wasn't strong enough to get through the thick wall. No such problem with this one, it works brilliantly. Highly recommend it.

Good value but a little fragile - and most of the melodies are awful
If you choose to screw the pushbutton into something, you have to be very careful with how you open and close it for this as the clips are fragile.Only about 3 of the myriad tunes are tolerable. Who wants 5 seconds of some cheesy classical tune as a doorbell? They need to get some more neutral ones. But price-wise and appearance and basic functionality are all good

It's loud and so there is no chance of missing the doorbell being rung.
Very easy to install. We are pleased as there is no chance of missing the doorbell ringing when we are in the room furthest from the front door as we now have a unit near the front door and another unit where it was most needed. Cannot comment on weatherproof qualities as the doorbell push is sheltered.

Sounds horrible, but does its job
I got this as a secondary doorbell for the backdoor (delivery men insist on using it instead of the front door). The sound quality of the chimes are as bad as it gets, but the device works well and is plenty loud enough for what it needs to do.Just don't buy this thinking you will have a pleasant sounding doorbell.

works very well
I bought an extra Byron DBY door bell push for the back door and easily set it up so that they play different chimes. I like the flashing lights as we often missed the old bell if there was music on.

Don’t Bother
Had Byron previously no problem time for an upgrade so went for another Byron what a mistake easy enough to get working and eventually got both synced but they will not stay synced absolute rubbish and frustrating go for something else!! This will be going straight back

Great if you like poor quality tunes
This isn't bad. The ringer is not great and 14 of the 16 different ringers are terrible renditions of "popular" tunes. I'm not sure who ever selects those for their doorbell. The 2 remaining rings are acceptable but the speaker isn't great quality and so at an audible level they give an average (at best) ring tone.I would look elsewhere next time.
