These are great! Yes they're thin, but they're still water proof and spaghetti proof, so this mama is happy. My little one absolutely insists on feeding herself (she's 2), especially the messiest of the messy, spaghetti. The cloth that's hemmed at the writs however, are not water proof, but it's not a big deal at all. If your child has long sleeves, just cuff the sleeves a few times and then slide the cover apron on them and their clothes are saved. The sleeves are baggy enough that it won't feel constricting on their arms, even with their long sleeves cuffed up. I wish I had bought these a year ago, to save a few clothing items from food stains. And they give you 5! I just wipe them down or toss them in the washer, but hang dry. A must hang dry only! I usually only comment on baby/toddler products, cuz I'm a first time mom and I love the honesty of experienced mothers on what works best for baby. Especially when it's cost effective. Which these are! Highly, highly recommend.

These bibs are perfect for my very messy 1.5 year old. They are long enough to cover her lap when eating. They are also great because they tie at the back and she cannot rip them off herself. I think they are a great quality, they did not have any leaking through to her clothes. I also appreciate how many came in the pack.

When I remember to put these on, cleaning of offspring is such a breeze and it saves their clothing. Once dinner is over, I toss the food that it’s accumulated in the little pocket and wash with dish soap. Then hang to dry for the next feeding. I have boy and girl so the patterns were good too.

Great to avoid mess. If your kid likes to spit water on themselves or spill stuff it will most definitely seep through but this is great for mild to moderate messes.. not a kid who makes mess on purpose lol
