Excellent product! This is my second purchase of this device. The first was 4 years ago and it's still going strong. It was the performance and ease-of-use of that first device that led me to purchase the current one. Can't go wrong!

So far so good. This product solves a problem that potentially could cost me hundreds of dollars. It gives me the diagnostic info to pinpoint faults that would otherwise become lost and lead to expensive and unneeded repairs. Thankyou My Spool.

Great customer service. For some reason the unit I got from Amazon wasn't working properly. Could not ID the problem as it would not activate or deactivate or got stuck in the power loss cycle. Wifi was working perfectly. Credit to the company for shipping me a replacement unit directly before trying to resolve the issue. Needed it for my nano fish tank for when I'm out.

It's gone off around a hundred times in two days while never once losing power unless I unplugged it, which has happened four times.Thank god it never tells me when power comes back on, as it's set to do.I have tried multiple power supplies as well as plugging into an outlet with built-in USB.This one, at least, appears to be trash, just filling up my email and texts with worthless notices. At over 100-1 false positives, it's worse than worthless.I'll hook it up to a power bank. If it goes off before the power bank runs out, it goes in the trash. If not, it's far too sensitive to minor blips.Not wild about how it works, either. You can't set it up locally, you have to do it through their site. And no app. An app would have ended the need to go to a website, and ended the deluge to my mailbox and texts.Not impressed, and not expecting to be. 😡Edit: And there it is. Ten minutes after being plugged into a full, charging 286wh power bank, it claims the power is out.Trash, and now in the trash. Pure worthless dog doodie. Save your money. These aren't getting returned because folks didn't realize they needed running wifi as I'd hoped, they are getting returned because they are craptastically bad. Sure, they do go off when power goes out, but it also goes off constantly when it doesn't. Lesson learned.

I bought this monitor to determine the duty cycle of a water pump that is controlled by a pressure switch from the pressure tank it feeds to. That is, instead of using it to know when the power is out, I wanted to know when the pump was ON and OFF, to see how much time in total it was ON during the day.Instructions are simple and straightforward, but the implementation of the configuration screen is rather poor. I tried to set it up from my phone, but the wifi connection continually droped. I then tried from my laptop and finally could access the configuration screen, but it was really bad and not responding properly. I had to use the "No Scan" option to configure the wifi. There was no feedback from this step, but when I created my online account at myspool dot com, my device appeared there, so all was good.In order to get email notifications, you need to authorize a request you receive from AWS Notifications or something like that, or else, you will NOT get any email notification on Power ON and OFF.After all this was set and done, my device has been working with no problems, and now I have some nice charts in Excel that show the duty cycle of the pump.

I'm using this with our Harvest Right Freeze Dryer which annoyingly does not have any remote alert capability. I plugged in before the dryer pump and customized the email to say "freeze dryer is drying". It also sends an alert after pump shuts off indicating that freeze cycle is complete.

Can't believe I waited this long to purchase this device. I store my motorhome about 15 miles from home. It is plugged in to maintain the batteries charged. Unfortunately, every once in awhile I lose power. Prior to having this device, I would not know that had happened until the batteries went dead and the hot spot I have there lost power. Now I am notified immediately. Very easy to set up if you follow the directions.
