This is an essential accessory for most new laptops, as they usually have very few USB-C ports and no card readers. I use this to run an external monitor and connect legacy USB-A drives and peripherals. I also use it to output content to my Quest 2, which works well.

This item works perfectly on linux and also with linux mint cinnamon. Both HDMI and all USB cable work seamlessly. The screen load (initial) might have been extended by a second but given that it is getting routed through an adapter I guess that is ok.

As with all Anker products the quality is good. This is super light, feels flimsy. However, all ports function flawlessly. This is a must have for those of you who primarily run tablets for workflow or have limited ports on laptops. This stays in my bag at all times and I've been able to feed x2 4K monitors from a Samsung Tablet for video editing.

It works good but the ethernet connection boots off after a few minutes. I tried changing the settings all over, but the only thing that would make it work again is resetting the adaptor. I purchased Anker's USB-C to Ethernet adaptor and it works fine directly from the laptop. I use AT&T fiber internet.

Works well. I was able to set up multiple screen view for work. Taking advantage of 3 screens each displaying a different window. Very satisfied so far.

Just bought a new laptop. New laptops today really don't have many ports. I wanted to connect to two external monitors, and be able to use an ethernet cable to connect to the network. The Anker hub was economical. It also has the option of passing through power if your laptop accepts charging through USB-C, although an external power supply will be needed for that. Good buy for what I need.

The product does what it's designed for. It's able to output to 2 monitors simultaneously, read and control USB devices, read SD and micro-SD storage simultaneously, and allowing ethernet connectivity. It works great for my S24+, S24 Ultra and iPad 10 generation. Also works just fine with laptops, S20+, and S21+. Can't go wrong with Anker products. I gave it 4 stars because I have the same model that was purchased a while back which feels more durable/heavier than this one and included a protective pouch.
