The cutters get just as clean as the braun cleaner. (used for two weeks atm)The Braun plastic container has to be cleaned out and reused.Given I was throwing the Braun container away every 4-6 weeks - that's a lot of plastic waste, I'm now avoiding...... and it's much cheaper

I thought I was being smart or thrifty buying this to top up my Braun cleaning fluid cartridges but it’s absolute rubbish. I don’t think it has any alcohol or detergent in it whatsoever. It’s like water with a very feint smell, as if someone’s made a homeopathic dilution of the Braun cleaning fluid and sold me a litre of it. Total waste of time. The head of the razor is dripping wet hours after the cleaning cycle has finished which I think could make it rusty if you don’t manually dry it off asap. The razor doesn’t smell remotely refreshed and certainly not lubricated like it does with the original solution. Avoid avoid avoid. Maybe other top up shaver fluids are OK but this one isn’t. Took me ages to clean out the old cartridge for it too which isn’t the fluid’s fault but it made me realise that there’s no substitute for new cartridges. I find if I take the cartridge out after the cleaning cycle and put the lid on, it keeps the fluid level up much longer and stops it from losing the alcohol, so I’ll do that instead to make them go further.

Doesn't evaporate well and leaves shaver damp with a mouldy smell. The Proline stuff is a bit dearer but works much better if you don't want all the plastic waste of buying Braun original cartridges repeatedly.I suspect the alcohol content is low.Doesn't even smell very nice. Avoid.

This product is terrible. It does not evaporate as the real stuff does, so the shaver just sits in a puddle of cold fluid all day and all night and then the next morning I am faced with a damp shaver that doesn’t glide across the skin. Awful.Trying to work out if/how to return but in lockdown it’s probably easier and safer to just pour it down the sink.Life lesson learned.

Lo uso sul mio brain serie 7, lascia il rasoio veramente pulito, come il prodotto originale, non ha lo stesso profumo ma è ottimo.
