We all go through a fair amount of household items in our lifetime, that's also true with pans.This. Is. The. Best. Pants. We. Ever. Owned.For this price point especially.I watched YouTube videos about how to make a stainless steel pan non-stick( 1. put oil in the cold pan and disperse evenly on the inside with a piece of paper towel so there is a thin layer of oil on the inside of the pan.2. turn the heat on and wait till the pan is really hot. Then and only then add the oil you want to use for cooking. Now the pan is non-stick.After use never use soap and never use a scratchy sponge, just wipe it with a clean piece of paper towel or a bit of fresh water. It works.)The handle stays cold even on an open gas flame, it is durable and has a nice weight to it.Great quality for the price and looks timeless and elegant.

Stainless steel cooking.
As with any stainless steel cooking product, when you fry foods they have a tendency to stick, so make good use of whatever oils you may use to cook with (in). I was determined to move away from the whole non-stick product line because of cancer concerns while cooking. This skillet has put me at ease as I experiment with new recipes with stainless-steel and one less thing to worry about when preparing meals.

Great pan
My husband and I are making the switch to none toxic pans. We use everyday. Although stainless steel is a little of a learning curve, this is a great pan. No rust and have accidentally left under water.

Good starter stainless steel pan!
The media could not be loaded. I use this pan primarily for making omelettes. It is a lightweight thin pan, so it heats up very quickly. Consequently, you can only use low or low-medium heat to cook, otherwise the food will stick no matter how much oil or butter you add. Keeping that in mind, I have no problem making omelettes. I just add about half a teaspoon of butter, use a brush to spread the butter evenly and then once I feel slight warmth when I hover my palm over the pan, I add the egg white and yolk and let it cook on medium-low heat (take a look at the picture to get an idea of the gas flame). The omelette comes off the pan easily.Other than heating up quickly and no being able to cook fast at high heat, this is a great started stainless steel pan.

Not the best for my omelets
A very good pan, but not effective for the use I intended. I want an omelette pan in which I could flip a cooking egg. The side of the pan is slightly too high or “steep” to be effective for that use.Otherwise, a good stainless steel pan
