Dr. Martens Unisex's 1461 Mono Smooth Black Oxford

Great looking shoes, perfect fit, extremely well made, comfortable. These shoes are made in Thailand so don't expect them to last even remotely as long as the ones made in England.It took 24 hours or less for them to get delivered.

Got these for my son for work and he said they are soooo comfortable . He said they are the best shoes he has ever had . I asked him what he thinks of them and he said ...."Perfect !"

I bought these shoes for work because I need something strong and sturdy. They are really good. They took sometime to wear in as the leather is rigid. The leather is not shiny, it has a matt sheen to it. I have polished them and they look good. I wasn't sure if they were genuine DM's because they didn't have the embossed logo on the side. I tried to contact DM via their website but they never replied. I am happy with the shoe. They were a good price. The 4 stars are because they are not quiet as good as my previous pair which were shiny smooth leather and had the logo. They do the job therefore I can't complain.

I dreaded spending £100 ish on shoes for my son but these are worth every penny. Normal shoes cost about £56, so going the extra mile will mean that he won't need a new pair half way through the year. True Doc Marten quality. Fantastic.

What happened dr marten, what happened to the quality of a pair of DM's. First pair sent back due to one of the metal eyes coming loose, now after a few weeks the leather has cracked on the second pair see photo , I also used the dr marten wonder balm stuff so they are well looked after.... great customer Service from Amazon as usual though

Our son who is the head waiter in a five star hotel in Cyprus, is on his feet for nine hours a day, looking after both customers and staff. He has bought other types of shoes but in the end falls back on Dr Martens. We came out on Monday, to see him and the family, bringing the shoes with us. Yesterday he wore the shoes for the first time and said when he got in at 12:30 last night, that he wore the shoes all shift and his feet did not hurt him once. Perfect!

Shoes look good but are a lot smaller than every other pair of size 9 Dr Martens that I've ever bought. I normally use Cush'n Step insoles for both added comfort and to make them a better fit however they are so snug that won't be possible.

Like all Dr Martens of this style you buy them for durability.I own a number of Martens shoes and will continue to do so knowing when I buy them they last.The down side to this type and the boot type you know you have to break them in a first.Once done you know they will last, last and last.
