I was brought up on the east coast and moved to the west coast in my 30's. I have always missed the pizza on the east coast. West coast pizza just doesn't match up! I deceived to try and make pizza that resembled the pizza back east. I found this sauce and read the reviews and decided to try it. This sauce is so good. Authentic east coast taste with a great texture for pizza making. Each can that I have used have had the same great quality. It does lack salt for the maximum flavor so I do add some sea salt to it. It is a little pricier that some you can get but you can't beat the quality. Still working on the perfect dough but now have the perfect sauce.

Top notch pizza sauce, don't make homemade pizza without it..

This sauce is perfect. I can't believe it's canned! I am spoiled from growing up in south side Chicago and neighborhood pizzarias I've been making my own for years because none of the other canned pizza sauces taste right. But this one is a whole another world. It made me homesick. This will always be in my pantry for pizza making.

3 to 6 cans were dented but that was no big deal to me however I will say that the sauce isn't that great. While the taste has a freshness to it, it's loaded with way too many Tomato seeds in it. You might as well be crunching on sand.

The wife and I bought 5 or 6 varieties of Pizza Sauce and we both liked this one the best.BUT, the price is double what I can buy local in NY.

Great pizza sauce. Bought a second time.
