Excellent quality, fast charging, lasts for ages.
Why have I never heard of this make before?I bought these clippers on the strength of the other reviews, and I'm very glad that I did. The spec and reviews are so much better than similarly priced products from household names.I deliberately left it a good while before writing a review, so I could give these trimmers a lot of use and a few charges.I use them every week to keep my hair down to the lowest 0.5mm setting, and quickly pop a guard on to keep my beard a bit longer. It's well built, and feels substantial, while being easy to hold. The twisting micro adjuster has a positive action, as does the on/off button. The guards also clip on and off well.Being cordless it's very convenient to use, but still has lots of power and does the job very quickly and relatively quietly. Quite often the (brilliant) battery life indicator hasn't dropped at all by the time I'm finished.Even when it finally runs low, you can pop it onto the handy USB powered charger, and it's ready to go again in around an hour. I've been using these clippers every week for months now and have only needed to charge it twice so far.Superb!

So Surprisingly Good It Makes You Worry for the Future of Hair Stylists and Barbers
As my random survey of whether or not to use a bootleg barber in the era of Covid showed a large majority sticking to the rules [this is not allowed yet from where I write] I did the socially responsible thing and plunged into the world of self-barbering if that is a term, preceded by copious research (which like looking for a good frying pan is a bit circular - many of the reviews keep leading to sales links whereby the reviewer probably gets a cut for every click through (so much for objectivity)). At any rate the Hatteker came up in the top ten in the UK in many surveys - I was hesitant as these have 'ceramic' blades where others boast 'super space age self sharpening steel (etc etc)'. And ceramic just doesn't sound like a...scissors does it ? BUT these were in stock and rated highly by the aforesaid articles (which tells you something at least). The box arrived wrapped in plastic MADE IN CHINA. Uh-oh I thought. That's where the anxiety stopped and dear reader, this product turned out to be a home run. I tried it out that night after studying more than a few Youtube videos on how to clipper your own hair (spoiler : shave UP simply put) and this worked like a wiz. I had a pretty shaggy head after 8 weeks without a cut but I was done in 20 minutes exactly as I wanted it - perfect cut. Kudos from my wife who was alarmed I was even trying this and other friends who could not believe how it came out when they asked to see photos. Here's the high points : at least 8 attachments for different lengths PLUS a central band which you can further grade the length of the cut from .5 to 2.5 mm in length PLUS two additional switch out razor heads for beard AND trimming back of the neck, side burns and eyebrows PLUS a extra lithion separately chargeable battery PLUS a very solid hold in the hand device whose power is more than enough for most (male) heads of hair PLUS all washable in water and ALL the head snap off and on extremely easily making it a cinch to clean and keep in good order. Only thing missing is a storage pouch - I dug a medium grade mid size travel pouch out of the closet and you can separate the shaver heads, other attachments and other gimracks in separate zip to seal bags you can get in any grocery store and put them in such a bag and you're good to store. The instruction sheet is useless except how to charge the battery [there is no charging stand by the way - you just charge the batteries with the charger and slip them in the phone (the stand is just to hold the thing up if you want to keep it in your bathroom that way vs storing it] - and there is a video review on Hatteker (a different model but much the same) on Youtube which explains the parts and how things clip on and off. Am taking the time on writing this as I was really shocked on the great result. I am sure there are others just as good but heh this is in stock, worked brilliantly and the price is excellent for the value. The main moral question is - what happens to the male haircutting and styling industry if we all get addicted to these things ? Not a pleasant question..... However you can rationalize getting one of these as the cost of one is the cost of a medium to higher grade haircut these days so what the heck. You can deal with the existential moral issues later... Enjoy

Superb, just avoid for beards
I really wanted to keep this, but decided to return it. Read on...My recent remington MB4060 trimmer expired after a solid three years, so I was after an urgent replacement.Note my review is only for beard trimming and not hair cutting, and I have been using a trimmer for over 17 years. I've owned many Trimmers in the past from all manufactures, and the Remington has been been my favorite to date, although definetely one of the cheapest plastic build I've ever owned. I am also very fussy and have bought many trimmers and just dumped them if they haven't given me the finish I was expecting.I also have a medium length beard, but do like to take it down to stubble. On the whole, this is a very good value kit, and at this price point is superb quality. It comes with plenty of attachments, and even has a spare battery. How good is that? It's very well build and solid feeling. The level of noise is probably on par with Philips Trimmers I've had in the past, and that is to say it is very quite. The main cutting blades are superb and I had no issue getting through a thick beard. The motor seems to be very powerful and torquey, which I think will satisfy many. They can also be adjusted to provide a close cut (without guard), although this wasn't as close as a Philips one blade, or even the Remington. The problem I had with it was, there was no way to use the main cutting blades with the adjustable guard. You can only use the smaller head with it, and this is where this trimmer falls down. That small head is rubbish. I had many hair tugging issues, it was noisier and there is no way to adjust the blades like the larger blades.I also found that neither of the blades gave a clean line for edging. I had to use both the Philips one blade and a Philips multi groom to do this. For beard trimming, I also think it is important to have an adjustable comb for blending. Multiple attachments are annoying to change during a trimming session, not to mention cleaning afterwards. This is the reason why I don't bother with the Philips multigroom on my facial hair.If you need a hair clipper or want to use for longer length beards, I fully recommend this. It is an outstanding product when using the ceramic blades, I really just wish they had a similar design but focused for beard/stubble trimming. So if you're looking for a hair clipper buy these, you will not be disappointed.

Solid build. Great clippers.
This is a fabulous set of hair clippers for the price. Very solid build and works exceptionally well. So, so much better than the wahl clippers I bought for a similar price a few years ago.
