Quality materials , really nice and smooth with useful markings
Great product , does exactley as described and intended. Covers a great area and trust me , me and pastry making needs alot of space to create a mess ! Quality materials , really nice and smooth with useful markings/measurment gauges visible, cleans up very easily and rolls up no problem , no kinks or twists.

Very good, happy with the purchase. Never owned one of these before but they make food preparation and kneading much easier. It’s not moving when in use and easy to clean with soap and warm water. Good size for what I need

Been a great help
This has been a great help for me when rolling fondant etc for cakes, it’s easy to clean and store too and non stick so it’s easier to move things about. The only thing I wish is that I could cut things on it with blades without cutting the silicone. It’s ok if using blunt tools but sometimes you need a sharp edge on things and you can’t do that on silicone. Other than that the mat is really good and I should have mentioned the fact the measuring scales on it are great too for cutting fondant to the right size.

I love this mat!
What a great purchase this mat was, I love it! I initially bought it as I was making a large cake and covering it in fondant icing. It was too big to roll the fondant out on the worktop so I was using the kitchen table. Although it was a new and spotless table, I wasn't comfortable rolling fondant out on it. The mat has a shiny rubbery underside so it's none slip. It has various sizes of circles in the middle making it easy to roll out fondant or pastry to the correct diameter. It also has handy ruler measurements across the bottom length. It also rolls up neatly for easy storage. Absolutely brilliant and I have no hesitation recommending this mat.Put together with great customer service and prompt delivery.

Great mat
I used this mat for decorating a cake - rolling the marzipan and icing the cakeIt worked really well. It was good to use a clean mat, which avoided prepping the table surfaceRolling the marzipan was successful - it didn't stick to the mat (I used a dusting of icing sugar)The mat is large so it is useful for the largest of cakes or rolling a large area of pastry.The mat did not slip on the table and was easy to clean, so I was most impressedThank you

Excellent quality - nice and thick, good markings, easy to clean
Having looked at quite a few mats and their reviews, I chanced upon this one. The first thing to note is its thickness, it is a really good quality. It arrived in a dedicated box, not just a plastic wrapper. Once opened it did need washing under warm water to release the creases and remove any residual production line chemicals. After that...WOW!...amazing mat. It's a good size to cover the working surface, with excess to store your pastry trimmings around the edges. The measured circles are a brilliant plus point, and true to diameter measurements.When you place the mat on the surface it lies nice and flat, no wrinkles, and no matter how hard i pressed down kneading the dough, or rolling the pastry, it didn't move or buckle - result, perfectly plat rolled out pastry.It is a lovely heavy, large mat, so to clean you will need to develop your own technique. I wiped off any excess flour etc.., then took a wet washing sponge with a bit of liquid on and gently soaped it. You can either rinse the soap off by folding, running under water, folding again etc.. until all is ringed, or you can take a clean sponge, and sponge since and dry.Anyway, I can't praise this enough, it is a really good price for the quality, and I expect the quality will ensure that it will last me a lifetime :-).
